  4. Hey Kodiak Island Modeler!!! That's a trip...you grew up in Osky huh?? Me, right down the road in Ottumwa!!! I didn't pop out until 68 tho!! LOL!! Went to school with Tommy Johnson Jr., and his wife. They both have a job I wished I had, top fuel & pro-mod!!? Used to go to Eddyville for the drags...Knoxville for the sprints!! I've said to friends before...I was born in the wrong era coz I loves me some '50's cars!!! I got stuck with leftover late 60s...then the 70' happened!! My first car was a 1970 Maverick, beat up 302, airshocks fully pumped in back, and a TON of bondo!!! LOL!!! only paid 200 for it. LOL!!

    58 Edsel.

First of all, thank you everyone for the kudos. After paint, clear, wax, etc...nothing fit right. I don't " dip " my models in paint or clear, they are very thin coats. The body would not fit over the interior, or the chassis! The radiator support broke, did not fit in it's place. The stoopid wheels popped off!? The paint chipped trying to get the body on ( left rear wheelwell ) had to touch that up. I dunno, it was a problem child!!! I was mad at it for awhile. I look at it, I see where I had problems...but isn't that how it goes?? You might not see it , but I do! Thanks again guy's, you're too kind!!!
  9. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I just finished this one...fought me tooth n nail all the way!! Test fittings were no problems, even with primer coats, after paint...MAJOR fit problems!!! Don't know why, built a couple in the past with no issues what so ever!! Probably something stoopid that I did...oh well, ended up okay, I guess. You tell me Yes the Edsel script dissappeared under the first coat of primer!
