Okay, here's something silly. I've got to direct you to the " other " models section coz I've got a mini me to show, it's a great likeness, a bit weird, but cool. Hopefully you'll get a laugh out of it!!!
Those are from Geometric, which is out of business! Dangit!! I met the owner YEARS ago at the hobby show in Rosemont Il. His name is George Stephenson. He no longer owns it. Not sure if they are gonna do more stuff or not. They did a whole line of 1/24th scale monsters. You can find em on ebay once in awhile. I don't have any but the wolfman, George just gave it to me at that show!!! Awesome sculpts!! I keep trying to get the Creature from the Black Lagoon in this set, always goes for big bucks!!!! Nice buildups Junior!!!!!
HA HA HA HA !!!! Thanks Donn!! Man, I'm trying to get my " backside " in gear!!! I shoved everything else to the side so I can git busy!!!! I've got six of em cut apart to start making molds, some others need a little more " body " work. For real man, thanks for bustin me so I could get back on em!!
Woohoo!!! Clay is in the house!!!! Man Clay, your photos look WAY better here!!! They look good on the other " forum", but man, they smacked me right in the face here!!! LOL!!! Can't wait for this build!!
You trying to bust my .....?! LOL!!!! I've got eight of em in the works!!! Gotta finalize them, and get em casted!!! I've got a few other things I gotta get out of the way, then it's on man!!! I'm old fashioned, no ZBrush or 3D printing here! LOL!! I wish tho!!!!!! Oh by the way, I'd LOVE to see that stuff in 1/24th, all of it. That " dune buggy " thing was cool!!!
Let's see, Model Cars, Scale Auto, Military Miniatures in Review, Fine Scale, Amazing Figure Modeler, Kitbuilders. I used to get Truck Modeler magazine from the UK, but that got too expensive!! Awesome truck models in there!!
Oh man, I went off the deep end a couple of yrs ago. I sprung for a Passhe spray booth...1200 bucks...still recovering from it!! LOL!!! 4 feet wide by 4ft deep by 3 ft high. 12 in explosion proof fan. I've got a ton of aftermarket stuff, some cool wheels from Jim at micro-nitro, and a boatload of kits that probably never get built, yet I still buy stuff when I can...stoopid huh? I guess my priorities are screwed up! LOL!!! Always stocking up on stuff like bare-metal foil, wiring from pro-tech, etc...
Indy probably be closest one to me, would love to get to the " Toledo " show sometime!? Since my spinal fusion, travel is a BIG concern, can't sit that long!! Sucks!! I'll be gettin back to the zombies soon, been doing a few other things that's been biting at me! LOL!!!
Yeah, I think so. I'm in the middle of a town that is full of motorheads!!! Lots of street rods, muscle cars and classic crusiers. The same goes for my hometown in Iowa, same type of cars. I have not seen any " far out " tuners or anything like that. I used to live down the street from Route 66 Dragway in Joliet Illinois, man, was that fun!!!! Loved hearing test & tuning, then of course the big show on the weekends!!!
Nice military stuff G. I still got my Sherman...still collecting " stuff " for it, gonna get some fruil-tracks for it down the line, can't beat real metal!!! LOL!!!
