I just finished this original AMT 63 Galaxie 500. It needed some work like I rebuilt the drivers side a pillar & vent window frame, added photo-etch window cranks, scratched a shifter, flocked the carpet areas,gauge decals, stripped the chrome...alclad now, foiled,antenna added, etc...first pics are before any real work, just showing the condition it was in

I love to create things. As Harry stated, not just car models. I also build figure models( when I can afford them, LOL! ) I also dig military models ( tanks & equip., no planes though, I like em but...) I have an extreme urge to sculpt a figure, maybe a dinosaur or a monster. I love dioramas, never built one yet!? It all puts me into my own little world, no worries about what's going on in the real world, just me and my dogs hanging out in the shop, chillin', sometimes my wife will pop in to chat while I'm doing something ( I got her to do some slot car bodies before, painted & foiled, I cleared em ) fun time all around!!! Man, you guy's are AWESOME!!! All of you have left me in the dust. I have made NO progress on the zombies. All of these temperature changes has got all the metal in my back...all cranked up! For real though, this was my first winter after my fusion surgery, man, what a pain!! I used to think that when someone would say " It's gonna rain/snow tomorrow", " I can feel it in my bones", was a bunch of garbage, huh! was I wrong!!!!!!!! I'll be getting back to the dead soon, supposed to be 50 to 60 around here in the next couple of days. C'mon spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fastest was a Revell 41 Willys, ( couldn't find my pics! ) 18 hours, started on a Friday night, 5pm, finished at 11am Sat. just in time for a local hobby shop contest where I won best in show! My longest builds...everyone after that!!! LOL!!!

Well' pretty simple. My last name is Six, just added an extra x. The avatar, that was my personal favorite drag slot car body that I did. It was also the first "real" sculpting too. That would be the blower scoop, done in Aves epoxy sculpt, then resin casted. I sold that body for a pretty penny! LOL!!

Thanks Ryan. those small parts were a pain, coz I got some big monkey fingers, I'd have to say the tire & wheel fit sucks. I don't think the wheels are wide enough, or the tires are too wide, something funky is goin on with em!?
