  1. After 15 years, you haven't lost your touch. Awesome job on both, and glad you fixed the stance and added the splitters.
  2. On the Camry, where are you going to get the grille, headlights, taillights, and Toyota logo decals for the build? Or is someone already making a complete Truex 2018 Toyota sheet that will fit this body? I know the snap kit revells are smaller than their diecast counterparts, not sure about the glue kits. They're all suppose to be 1/24 scale. Don't they usually derive these resin bodies from the diecast version? So many questions, but iv'e heard there are no bad ones, and inquiring minds want to know.
  3. So far, I have never seen one of the decals I installed, lift, that I futured. I love the stuff, because I have never seen future ruin, or discolor any decal, I have installed. Again, Beautiful job on the model.
  4. Excellent job, Jim. That is a great decal sheet. Next time you need a decal to stay down try future using a brush just on that decal. Of course it goes by a totally different name. Now its called "Pledge Revive it floor gloss" and the bottle is brown and yellow. There was a story about it in the latest scale auto.
  5. Thanks, John. I really appreciate the info.
  6. Need some help, please.
  7. Thanks, Alan. This is a well engineered kit. You will enjoy building anything from it. Everything fits just right, although I did have a little trouble with the glass.
  8. Excellent build. I saw Tony Stewart at a car show in Houston, the year before he ran the Cup series. He was walking around with Steve Park, and nobody knew him either. My wife and I followed him around, and he came to an area where kids were playing some kind of game with remote control cars. He played the game with a little kid who had no idea who he was. It was strange seeing some one, as famous as he became, before he became famous. The car show advertised that he and Park were going to be there, and that was one of the reasons we went. I knew him from the IRL series, and Busch series, but most of the people there had no idea who he was.
  9. Excellent job, Bruce. And I appreciate that you got the stance correct.
  10. Looks Awesome, Jim. Great job on the decals and fixing the stance and tuck of the tires under the fenders.
  11. Your welcome, Christian. It was hard to find many 54 Hudsons that were campaigned back then in Nascar. The only other one I found driven by Frank Mundy did not show up at all in "racing reference". I think it was driven in 1955 because it actually had a roll bar in it.
  12. Excellent job on what had to be a very challenging decal installation. I would not even try one of these. Looking forward to the final product.
  13. I appreciate the way you fix the tire ride height and the tucking of the tires. It makes such a huge difference in the way the finished model looks.
  14. Yes, I believe they are all basically the same.
  15. Well, Chris. I guess I would go with one that has one color, and just basic decals. Not large panel decals. Maybe the yellow Waltrip car, or the black Earnhardt car. That would be a way to get your feet wet, without having to deal with anything too challenging, right off the bat.
  16. The ones that inspire you to build them. I usually end up using street car models and turn them into nascar builds.
  17. Thanks John and John. I really appreciate the kind words.
  18. Great job, Neil.
  19. I believe that's an ARCA car. Notice the hoosier tire decal on the front fender
  20. I'm going to do a favorite things car but its actually going to be a beer car. but not Budweiser or any miller product.
  21. Thanks, Mark.
  22. Thanks, Rick. I forgot to post a finished picture in the wip.
  23. Thanks, Brian. Feedback is always appreciated.
  24. Thanks, Elvin and Jim. I really appreciate it.
  25. Excellent job. You know, for I don't know how long now, the road course cars nowadays are being fueled on the left side of the car. When I did my Tony Stewart road course winner, from a couple of years ago, I was going to put the filler on the right side, but when I looked at the reference pictures, I found out I didn't have to. That is at least at Sonoma they are on the left side.
