  1. Looking forward to seeing the Caddy with paint. Dude... your like a machine. Your inspiring me !
  2. Day got a little backed up and I never made it to the LHS. Did decide on wheels and engine. Going with the Pegasus big & little Halibrand style wheels. I'm going with an Ardun w/strombergs coming through the hood... And like I said, it's called Woodn't for a reason This is going to be fun! *This is sitting waaaay too high
  3. Getting back into it.... just gotta clean up this pig stye. Laying out all the bits-n-pieces for the current build. Researching some Ford stuff right now while some Slipknot is cranking (Wait & bleed, great vocals!) Dog got annoyed and left
  4. Yeah, after you see & experience the benefits it makes you wonder how you used to get along! I've lost, to date.... approx. 150 lbs. I swear I'll never be big again. I've been maintaining at 185-192 for the past 2 years and I'd be lying if I said its easy. Stat with it!
  5. Thanks Randy. I tried to make a jig at work yesterday so the axle is symmetrical, but it didn't happen. I'm off to the hobby shop later today for some more materials. Tonight in planning on a late night with hopefully progress pictures to follow.
  6. Me, my Wife, & my Mistress......
  7. Go for the T-bird. Corvettes make me yawn.... Inteior & engine detailing look really good! Nice job replicating the A/C plumbing, an often over looked detail. And as for the weather, at much effort & expense we have tickets for opening day at Citi Field next Monday. We're hoping for an improvement too Bro! This year may be the fist time I get to dress for all four seasons going to see the Mets aggravate us...... Looking good buddy, looking good!
  8. It's a little slow at work today & I just happened to have packed some brass in my lunchbox. Time to get started on that dropped axle w/steering
  9. 400,000..... 500,000..... what's the difference when your dreaming? It's still a beautiful design.
  10. Living with previous heart issues myself I wish the best on a speedy recovery.
  11. Well, the hint is the car is called Woodn't..... So I wouldn't be using the kit parts, which is plastic, replicating wood. Yes, this could get Interesting. Think Ed Roth meets Jimmy Shine. Stay tuned, this is outside my usual comfort zone
  12. The wheels got me. The delicate trim rim against the contrasting color under the Root Beer. Beautiful...just beautiful!
  13. While searching out a few items for a board member I came across enough "good stuff" to get some torque going to the gears: I found my second build! Something in a semi-slammer league, but not too involved to become intimidating. All image.... What I found was an MPC '29 Woody that I had rearranged a few body panels on. It still needs some finishing on the joints and the hood/rad. shell, but it's all fairly simple. The body is set on some stainless shim stock a friend had given me years ago. It cuts with scissors and leaves an edge as you see. This will be used, along with a very unique vintage engine, coming through the hood. *Wheels and tires may change on a whim at any moment, most likely MANY times.... You'll all have to wait to see what I'm thinking....
  14. Looking really nice Rich. Love the interior!
  15. You have our attention for sure. Looking forward to seeing more updates!
  16. Wow! Nice original build of an old classic. That's sweeeeet!!!
  17. Stop it, your killing me! What a great redesign of a great design.
  18. I'm in love with the coupe...... That is one slinky-sleek sweetie. Wow......
  19. Good job Terry! I never found the before pictures I mentioned previously, but it was bad. What I learned from Weight Watchers was how to read the labels and portion control.Once I had a grasp of what worked, I continued on my own. To this day I still use what I learned from them. Dropping 8" in your waist is epic dude. I bet you feel like you haven't in years! Congratulations!
  20. I was thinking the same thing. This build has become so BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH fascinating its going to be amazing by the time it's completed. There's so much more being done compared the the rail, and THAT was fabulous...... This is so cool to watch come together.
  21. Nice teaser shot of the dashboard!! You go Rich! Coming along nicely!
  22. I know Tom. If I can get the second one done, I'll bring both. I'm trying to bring something neat and I have just the build..... I think. I have a few weeks, I think I can.
  23. Oooooo......... I want one of those sooooo badly. In yellow....Tinted windows.... Sorry, Im back.
  24. I built the Atlantic Roadster when the kit first came out. And yes, it was published heavily in all the mags. One of my most popular builds, and I think it was done in 2 weeks. Go figure! Thanks for the encouragement on the Edsel. I think I have a neat one lines up next....
