  1. What did you do to the plug wires, wipe them down with lacquer? VERY realistic appearance.... The entire model looks great, right down to the "over spray" on the floorpan.
  2. A tutorial on photo-reducing would be nice. The model box...poster....signs.... it's all beautiful!
  3. I agree. The anonymous posts were retarded at times....
  4. I like a girl who's jeans look like they're painted on..... Sweet build. Thanks for the tips!
  5. Fantastic job Ismael! I don't know which is more impressive: the laser-sharp build or the killer setting. Beautiful...just beautiful!
  6. You did a nice job Bill! Smoooth job ! 8)
  7. AMT `32 Vicky with a long ram 413. I love using different engines from the normal small block Ford & Chevy. This is a tribute to my late friend Dave Dickash. This is a replica of his much-loved all steel Deuce. As I was saying.... I love using unusual engine choices. Here I used a 6 cylinder Jaguar w/ 3 deuces.
  8. Awesome work Jason. I like the subtle rusting on the `29. And that `39 Chevy.... beautiful! Some REALLY nice building you've done. Thanks for sharing!
  9. Deja-Vue all over again..... Anyone remember Project Snowball from the Model Car List?
  10. Bill...Bill...Bill... when are you going to get your skills up to speed? I mean, displaying these hacked together quickie builds must be an ego rush, but how about something really good! I'm kidding. I know Bill personally and have seen many of his cars going together at CPMCC meetings over the years. I can remember when that Impala was nothing more than lotsa big & little pieces. He does amazing work. Big hands and all... It was good seeing you in Maryland last weekend. Too bad we didn't talk more. As it was I barely saw the contest as me & Amy were catching up with everyone we haven't seen in a while.
  11. Thanks Billy....The LIARS are a good buncha a guys. At the moment I'm kinda in limbo as far as club membership since I haven't been building much lately. Hopefully I'll be motivated to get back into it here.
  12. Hey guys... I figured I'd stop in and finally register. My name is John and I live in Queens, New York. I have been a member with both the LIARS & Central Pa. clubs. I've threatened to join MAMA's but Lyle & Matt have promised to beat me senseless (like that can be done....) if I do. I've been building for more than 10 yrs. on a serious level, most of my life otherwise. I'm a technician for Nissan by day, and a part-time hack Bass player by night. I'm married to a wonderful lady whom supports all my hobbies. I also own a `68 340-S Barracuda, hence the screen name. Looking forward to exchanging info and war stories. BTW: I could care less the Imperial's steering wheel is screwed up....
