  1. This will be a cool build. I know CTM makes a real good photo etch upgrade set and well worth the money, just in case you really want to kick it up a notch. I will watch with great interest.
  2. Lookin good buddy!!! I better pick up the pace. Lol
  3. Looks like I’m the first one in the front row for this one, Johnny…. These old Whites are really cool. Looking forward to watching this come together …..
  4. NOW you tell me ! 🤣🤣 I never actually thought of that, and yes I am going to have to paint them white. I got focused on the fact that I am going to prime it with Tamiya grey primer then paint it and the whole kit actually in a more realistic yellow. But , yes there is a LOT of yellow plastic. Thanks for noticing the filters. Something that seems quite visible to me but not included with the kit …… thanks Steve
  5. James. Check out STSupplyco.com Paul has quite a good selection. He is my go to …..
  6. You DO! But I was thinking I might be going a bit far with all the bolts. 🫣🤭
  7. I wasn’t going to post this but my buddy Ronald said, “no pictures, it didn’t happen” …… oh but it did…. Added some VERY small bolts to a pulley cover and completed a couple clamps on the pipe as well as scratched a couple filters , plumbing to follow….
  8. GREAT Fab work, Steve, the little details are going to make this one shine !
  9. The Brown Little window Pete was my first truck build when it first came out....
  10. 22 !!!!!!!??? And Cathy thinks I’m a hoarder!🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I will be looking forward to some cool builds.
  11. Thanks JM ! Those Meng bolts are actually quite easy to use and yes some are really small but they do sharpen up what can be soft detail. A guy could go crazy with them but restraint seems to be the word of the week🤭
  12. Those are cool kits, wish they were still around……this is coming together at lightning speed ! A complete old school unit ! Looks great, Lee
  13. Looks like my buddy Ron, is building his 350!at lightning speed and I had better keep up ……. So as Ron is doing, I also am adding some small details I’m hoping may show up under paint…. I thought the molded bolts on the air cleaner hold down straps were a bit weak , so I changed that, added the Meng bolts before and after pics, transmission and what I perceive to be the torque converter , then the water pump and then the belt pulleys and then lastly the hydraulic pump and one large engine mount bolt
  14. I’m in too. And from what I’ve seen on past builds, this will be a show stopper ….
  15. Just trying to tap into the vault of spectacular ideas and precise measurements. 🤭🤣
  16. Oh sure …. Blame the fat bald guy in the back row!🫣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It is going to be fun to have a couple of these on the go , lets hope we can get one or two more ….. I’m sure we will be borrowing ideas from each other too …. Great to see you posting again , pal …. We’re gonna have fun!!
  17. Thanks. They look like metal. Very impressive. And very methodical , you have very good ideas on how to approach these challenges. Most have never crossed my mind. A joy to watch … and learn …
  18. I agree with Steve. It looks really smart as a day cab , and these were great kits, I never managed to get one and always had my eye on the wrecker …. A Masterful job on this one Lee, very sharp ! I love it !
  19. Totally agree with Brian and Gary, that color will pop any chrome or contrasting decal stripe. I had no idea there were so many 1/32 trucks out there ….. guess I don’t get out much …. This is shaping up to be a real beauty , Lee…. Show us more …
  20. Gotta LOVE the old gas pots …. A very rare thing to see these days. This is a sweet build. Looking forward to more ….
  21. Beautiful work of art ! Brian, are the strap hold down brackets metal? Or did I miss that. ?
  22. Couple hours at the bench ….. got me an ‘almost’ finished fuel tank, seams sanded and weld beads added …. And got the Western Star cab ‘tacked’ together.
