  12. Very interesting! I was just about to start a kit bashing project to build this very car! I found that the PSM 1971 Mustang Mach 1 has the correct hub caps. The MPC 1973 kit has the correct seats. There is a significant difference in the hoods between the two cars and they are not interchangeable due to sizing. I don't believe of the kits have an anatomically correct 429 CJ, but that the new release of the Revell-Monogram 1970 Torino GT finally does. There is a great review of all the V8's in Scale Auto Magazine which I recommend. https://scaleautomag.com/rapid/2017/04/guide-to-great-v-8s If the hubcaps are available elsewhere let me know, the ones in the kit I got were badly "de-chromed' due to age. Looking forward to a review of the new 007 kit!
  13. Was posting when you send this. Thanks!
  14. Ah! And there it is! Thanks all for the quick responses, that is exactly what I was looking for. I believe the Monogram was a 1:24 and the MPC kits are 1:25 but its probably negligible on the air cleaner. Willing to buy if anyone has one. Thanks!
  15. Hello, My current build is a 1984 Ford Mustang GT with the 5.0L H.O. engine. I owned this car when I was younger so building from my personal photos. My base kit is the MPC 20th Anniversary Mustang as that has the correct body panels. However, it does not have the correct 5.0L engine or air cleaner. I can get an accurate 5.0L engine from BNL Resin, but still looking for the air cleaner. It was a large round air cleaner with two snorkels going into air feeds in each wheel well. None of the Mustang kits I have researched have this aircleaner so I dont think it was ever included in a production kit. Any suggestions? Thanks!
