    Got the engine all done and installed. Went with a lighter, high winding small block instead of a thirstier big block. Parts box long tube headers, parts box mystery high rise intake (its sbc for sure just no idea from what kit), parts box carb and valve covers. Wrapped the headers, added wiring, fuel line, and dipsticks.

    Yeah that was my thoughts too, i got the idea from looking at some of the more recent cannonball cars in real life, this picture is from a guy that stripped down a rental mustang and strapped extra tanks in the interior lol

    Trying to decide how i want to run the fuel cells. Between the three cells and the stock tank i figured there should be around 61 gallons ( i believe the cells are 12, 15, and 18 gallon and the stock tank is 16).

    I wanted to stick the cooler in the car for drinks but i dont think theres gonna be enough room, novas are smaller then i remember apparently lol

    Got some of my ebay purchases in today including these fuel cells. Thinking of leaving out the the passenger seat and mounting the big one in its place like a real cannonball car did a few years ago in a rental mustang

    Bodys in primer, got the wheels all painted up and assembled. This has got to be one of the worst fitting kits ive done, so lots of fitting and re-fitting

    Decided to enter my first community build off with this nova. Decided to build the car as if it was a real cannonball car so gonna try to build it some what sleeperish. Started mocking up the car to decide the wheel and tire option

    Idk if this counts but i started this one before Christmas and finished it last night. Its a jimmy flinstone cab, amt donor kit, iceman tesla kit and lowering suspension, custom decals.

    Starting to mock this car up. Im thinking of running these steelies with some wide low pro-tires. Side by side comparison with the wide lows and the stock tires

    Got this one finished, far from perfect but good enough for what basically started as a parts truck. According to scalemates, this kit was released around 1977, so theres a good chance that who ever started this did so before i was born. Box stock with the exception of decals, tires and rear wheel center caps, all from the parts box.
