  1. My previous Jag, with the seamlines.
  2. Thanks guys! Bill; you gave me a wonderful idea and I hope you don't mind if I gave it a try home to make the roof functioning.
  3. Thank you guys! I love those Enthusiast kits, so much that I am going to want them all actually. I have about 200 kits now, and only 10 of them are Enthusiasts, but still growing Those rockguards were born out of bare necessity. I bought this kit 'used', still in the box, but some parts got missed in action. the rear lights are completely scratched. the rockguards came because teh headlights were not there either.
  4. Thanks guys! The major mistake that Tamiya did with this kit is to take a street-F40 and add a decal sheet and different wheels. To make a nice replica I have to modify different parts, including modifying the complete interior.
  5. Thank you, yeah, the seams makes a huge difference. it is a tough job, but it is doable. I can make a how-to for that maybe even.hmmm. I will post some pictures of the interior in a bit, need to find them first
  6. Recently discoveres silk ribbons, once painted in the right colour, structure looks pretty good. Ribbons can be very easy made to scale by using a papercutter, with a round knive blade, not the slicer. ( I honestly don't know the name, sorry 'bout that. )
  7. This is a kit I finished begin this year back home in The Netherlands. Basically box-stock, with some additions. It is from the famous Enthusiast series, my most favourite.
  8. Again OOB, nothing very special.
  9. Simple, completely OOB build, nothing wild here.
  10. Thanks tough, but there is still a lot I need to learn.
  11. I use the q-tip method. Simply apply the black paint on the grille and every minute stop painting, get a q-tip and wipe the spilled paint off the grille. Works easy and you don't have to do a lot of work.
  12. The problem I have with BMF is that it cost a lot of money 11-12 dollars per sheet back home, and some sheets are just so badly cracked that even a straight piece of a inch will break up in several pieces. And then it is a costly sheet. If BMF could just find a way to improve their product, I would be very thrilled.
  13. Thanks, those straps should resemble seat-belts I will post some more pics, is a bit clearer.
  14. Thanks, but I could've done more to the car. Your car sounds good! Do you have pics on this forum? Would love to see it. I have a couple more of these kits, so I am going to make several variations. This car was a gift to a guy in Vancouver, WA. He gave me 25 Mopar kits for free. So a little appreciation
  15. This project is a modified, themed project. The kit is of a Volkswagen Transporter series 3 Westfalia camper. What I want to make out of this is still a camper, but the transporter will have some DNA of the mark1 Golf GTI. Some pictures so far:
  16. Thanks! I just registered at this forum today, so I haven't posted much yet. I did made several projects back home. If you're interested I can post some of the old finished ones. The ones I've put on this forum finished are made in the USA. working on a kitchen table or a freezing cold shop. When I work on the cars back home, I will work in my room again with the proper tools and materials. Best thing about having spent some time in the states is stocking up. I have added 90+ kits to my already 120+ kits inventory. I've paid a massive amount of shipping costs, but all worth it
