  1. 80 Euro's That's about 150 dollars., Nice project tough, but a bit too expensive I prefer the GT500 they schedule to come out.
  2. This isn't a real OR a model car! The car is photshopped, I am convinced.
  3. This must be the coolest kit I have seen so far this year! Too bad I don't live in the states anymore, I guess shipping exceeds all max's But boy, would I have want one!
  4. The Eliminator isn't that hard at all. The body is red, ( duh ). Follow for the technical parts your head. Most of the parts are normal color. So follow a manual you have from a 30's streetrod. And you should be fine.
  5. This will be the last update of this year. First I am going to do the Christmas thing and the day after I head for Austria. So I will be back in 2008 Not a huge update, but the engine is done.
  6. I used 3M SchotchCal Film, but you can use ordinary maskingtape, altough the 3M stuff has a realistic appearance.
  7. I know, but with reason actually. He started another thread, but this question would've been offtopic and fitted better in this one, so excuses excuses Thanks tough
  8. Ok, seems that my last update didn't got pulled through, so another update now. Making ignition wiring One halve done With the other halve too. And working on the driversseat. It needs more details as it is fully exposed. Needs some work more.
  9. A warm welcome from the ( I think ) first Dutch dude on this forum. As you will notice, this forum has more information and usefull tips than that other dutch-forum.
  10. Well done! And interesting colour choice.
  11. I cut off the pullys from the molded v-belt and pullys The new V-belt And rejoind on the motor again, looks a lot better than the original belt, dontcha think? The exhaust system And all the parts for the engine, put together and now waits further detailing.
  12. Yes, that is one Fujimi Enthusiast. 18 and 22 dollar don't seem to be so bad to pay.
  13. Thanks guys for the support. No, no reference and no idea what I'm doing either. hahaha. I did figured, that I have to bring a lot more detail in wiring, and engine detail. It will cause many headaches, but fun to do I hope.
  14. Are there more pictures of this build? I am still not convinced it is a model
  15. Sandpaper is a good method. Don't want to be an ass, but it took me 5 times reading that line, to see what you were trying to say
  16. Nice pictures, thanks! p.s. This is the 250 GTO, the GTO itself is the official name of the 288 GTO, which came about 20 years later ;-)
  17. I hope so Got no idea in what I am into now, but looks interesting....for now..... Already time for the first update! My hands couldn't resist of cutting up the body. See for yourself! :-P
  18. Ok, ÃNother project  ( like I didn't had enough yet... ) This will be build quite slow and is more a between project when other projects are stalled for some reason. The idea is to build a Porsche 911 (euro specs) and cutaway the body. As base, I use the Fujimi Enthusiast No. 5 kit, as this is the best base one can have. This is how I received the body and glass ( the cracks were known, and that's why it was also an ideal base for this project ) A dryfit of all the bodyparts together And made some lines where I will cut the body in halves The front window was split in a way I didn't liked, so I masked of the preferred line and started to saw It resulted in this raw frontscreen And smoothed with different grid sanding sticks And the start of the engine, painted already in the main colours
  19. Looks like someone is acting very childish.......
  20. The engine so far, need to work on wiring yet. Dry-fit of the bodystyle options I've chosen Got the headrests off. And put them back on again, with a tad more realism.
  21. Thanks guys. And I have to agree. The worst part of the Tuner-cars are the people who drive it. Most of them is fine, but there is a certain group that screws it all up for the rest of the scene. Doing a lot of frontwheel burn-outs, ultimate loud music, hanging in the middle of the car, with the left pols on the 12 o'clock position of the steeringwheel, you know what I mean. And then a lot of parts not even painted, only primered on the car. If only 80% of them took it all a bit more serious....
