  1. Thanks for the kind words!! Syd, Yes they are all scratch built. I took a bit of artistic license, around the bellhousing and trans, and spaced the exhaust for available parts, but I wanted a Hot Rodded Model A Motor for a project, so this outta fit the bill. Looking good, Al!!

  5. 2nd Annual Sacramento NNL and Model Car Swap Meet!!! SUNDAY October 18, 2009 at the California Auto Museum 10:00 am-3:00 pm. The Sacramento Vintage Auto Modelers, in conjunction with the Towe Auto Museum, are presenting a Model Car Show and Swap Meet at The Towe Auto Museum, 2200 Front St, Sacramento, CA, on October 11 2008. The theme is "100 years of the Ford Model T" but all types and years of Model Cars and Trucks are welcome. The Show and Swap Meet runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and admission to the model car events is included with Museum admission. Swap meet tables are still available.   13. I'm liking this build alot!!!! Here is a couple shots of CSX 3154, It lives at the Towe Auto Museum in Sacramento, CA. It's the real deal, was owned by Tony Hogg, a writer for Road and Track in the 60's and the early 70's. And he DROVE it, alot... I am going to try and get some better pics, but even though my Daughter works there, this is about as close as we can get. Thought you'd enjoy this...

  19. Hi everybody. I've been working on this for about 2 years. Started as a scratch built front axle for a Big Deuce. Everything but the seat, steering wheel, body, quickchange, wheels and tires, and engine pieces are scratchbuilt out of brass, copper and aluminium. All done with files, razor saws and a bench vise. Probably the last pics before final paint, plumbing and assembly. Hope you enjoy
