First coat of paint. Dry coat. Another dry coat. This time with more coverage. Sanded with 3000 sponge. Then washed. After it dries, I'll do the wet coats.

Nice to know that! I also sand between coats of paint.

I tackled the mold lines with a tip I got on Facebook. Sanded the area again. Put extra thin cement over where the lines were. And they popped up again. Let it dry, and then sanded again. Now they seem to be gone forever.

Works really well

I put the tire on my Dremel (with a makeshift axle) and spun it over sandpaper. Not too fast to avoid excessive heating and melting the rubber. -

Thank you! ?? Crazy design. Nowadays you would need a bigger Pit team to change tires? -

A good kit but I had to work a lot on the tires to make them smooth. -

A really interesting car. Crazy design. -
2k primer time. I love the way this primer goes on. Still some sanding to do. Stubborn mold lines. Primer reveals everything. But that's OK. Better see these lines now than after the paint.?

These older Ferraris are beautiful.? Thanks! ???

Sanded down the superglue. Looks good. Washed the kit to remove the dust and residues. Ready for priming!

Sanded the mold lines This one was ugly Got it off All the covers fit nicely. The whole body was sanded down to 1000 grit. I find this way best for primer anchoring. Tricky part. Stick it and covered the gap with superglue. Did the same on the front

Did some engine detailing. Got these nice accessories: added larger wire sleeves on the distribuir The red wire fits nicely More details On the other end I added a red sleeve. Also from a larger gauge wire I liked the effect Now I have to rest my eyes ???

Oh yeah! Another Mr. Lin video! Thank you! So much useful information! The Alpine is marvelous!

Thanks!! ?? Glad you liked it! Really enjoyed making the top. Thanks! Thank you very much for the tips you gave in your Chevelle video. They were a turning point. I used almost all your tips on this kit. Including sanding the paint between layers. Great! And applying dry coats of clear over the decals and then sanding before applying the wet coats. Man... What a difference!!! ???

Wow. I'm glad I found your build. Got one of these kits and it's in my 2021 plans.?
