Just finished this build earlier. Other than the decals falling apart the build went pretty good. Basically box stock except I wired the engine. I decided to go with white bumpers and just paint the bumper bolts silver because Charlies steel body car had white bumpers. The cage inside the body was a little challenging but I got through it. Paint is Tamiya Pure White and it was cleared with Splash Paints 2k clear then polished with Meguiar's products.

I'm getting close on this one guys. I'll let the body set for another day our two the polish it. The oxidizers still need some detail work, a few more decals, glass, and the parachute.
Great looking kit there Grant. Coming along nicely and that yellow is a real eye catcher. I bought this kit a while back but was going in a totally different direction with mine. Blown drag car.
