Thanks man. I'm hoping for a smooth build on this one. I don't want to fight it so I'm taking the gloves off 😃 -

Thanks man. Nothing is in stone just yet. -
Looking good Ulf. I was looking around for an engine on Texas 3D Customs website and saw this blown slant 6 and thought about your build.

I got some of the pieces cut off the tree and cleaned up this morning. First order of business was to get rid of that funky hinge thing on the hood and get is more smoothed out. -

That looks so kewl Pat. Love the pics. Looks like you could just walk up, get in, and drive away. Love the ole fat fender pickups. Fantastic looking build. -
That's a Super nice looking 32 Roadster Ken. That engine really fills up the business end. Great looking build.

I hear ya Barry. There is a lot about this kit that doesn't set well with me. I really don't like how the hood attaches and I really don't like the decals either. -

Pretty kewl looking Willy's pickup Gerald with the longer box on the back. I've cut the engine parts from the tree and not liking what I'm seeing. I may have to turn to the Iceman. -
This is such a kewl build Dennis. Love the old falcon Gassers. Great job with all the wiring.

Gotcha. This is a Monogram kit so hopefully it won't have that issue but ill be on the look out. -

This is for a GB on another forum so I have until the middle of next year to finish it and in case the decals don't work out. Yup, I'll do some spoon test for sure. -

I was looking for my next build and this Monogram '41 Willy's Pickup kit (2013 Release) just kept catching my eye so here we go fellows. I cracked the box open and cut a few pieces off the tree. Everything looks pretty decent. I have a couple colors in mind which are the Tamiya TS-57 Blue Violet and the Testors Extreme Lacquer Purplelicious. I have never used any of the testers Extreme Lacquer paints so not sure how they spray out. And...what's the odds on the decals being any good??? -
Well fellows....I'm still waiting on the decals from STS. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since I placed my order.

The ole Shoebox Ford turned out pretty nice. I'm diggin the 50 Chevy pickup on the shelf pulling the U-Haul trailer.
