Are the wheels and tires the same? At any rate I can smell some kit bashing with Revell's 69 or AMT's 67

Ted is way cool! Had the opportunity to meet him several times. Once while hunting up around the Alpena MI area we took his table by accident as he was in the can and came back and said hey fellas this my table and one of my buddies said are you Ted Nugent he said yeah, then my buddy said well have seat and we shot the breeze about hunting for a couple hours wished everyone good luck hunting and that was it. I then met him a couple more times at our local PBS station during pledge drives when I delivered pizzas there.

Late model ford bronco
bigphoto replied to N~8~Ball's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
The MPC kit would be your best bet or the Monogram 1/24 version. The Revell kit is OK but has a completely wrong front suspension for the Bronco/F-150 as it is leaf sprung which is correct for an F-250/350 80-96 -
You might try contacting Universal Studios.

Welcome to the DARK SIDE my friend!!! Nice work.

bigphoto replied to walt francis's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Actually fellas it is an M37 3/4 ton military truck and has never been kitted in any scale as far as I know. The closest you can get is a WC51 3/4 ton. This is a link to my 1/72 scale version http://www.smallscaleafv.com/ANG/Technika21/72_WC51Dodge.htm I am slowly converting the kit used in the link to an M37 but it is slow going -

How to on Detail Master Carb Linkage?
bigphoto replied to VictorSmalls's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
How much detail do you want to do? I guess would be the question. Do you want it prototyically accurate or would you be happy with just having linkage? Also what is the engine going into? -

Revell Discontinuing NASCAR Model Kits

Try being a Lions fan So as not to change the subject will this affect the 57 Chevy "Black Widow" ? As I want to build the Hollywood Knights version of the Project X car. -
Revell Discontinuing NASCAR Model Kits
bigphoto replied to larrygre's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
While I am a fan of auto racing I applaud Revell for dumping NASTYCAR. I think someone should send a link to this thread to all sports sanctioning bodies just to let them see that not everyone is happy go lucky in love with them to pay ludicrous prices for memorbilia or attending an event. I also like the idea of putting them on like a pay per view basis. I do not have cable or Sat. TV just an antennae and more and more sporting events are going to cable/sat. the less I care about them!! My .02 pennies. OK maybe nickel -
Thanks guys I was thinking either way would work just wanted some more input and I got it thanks again!1
-
Yes the engine would be black for a stock version.
-
Thanks for the Edsel info. Another source for the MEL would be the optional engine in the 25 Ford Roadster.
-
I am not sure about it but the AMT recent Edsel kit may have the 430 Also Archer Transfers makes wood grain surface detail http://www.archertransfers.com/AR88012.html

Hey gang, I just got the 60 Starliner p/e set from MCG and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on the best way to get the brass scripts chrome as on the 1:1 car that I am replicating for a customer.
-
Hey Gang, I spotted the GT500KR on my LHS today as well as the 51 droptop chevy's earlier this week( I like the box art on the Chev as it calls for Pactra paints!!) Also spotted the MPC 70 Superbee
-
Hey Nick the old Gt 40 MKII kit from Testors or Union has the engine you are looking for also!

Has anyone built the Revell...
bigphoto replied to Raul_Perez's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Bob, can you combine it with the Fujimi 575M to get one with an engine? especially if I find one for $5.00!!!! -
Truck Bed Question
bigphoto replied to Scott H.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Hey Scott, I do not know of any slab side boxes for a short bed. But this may help in the hacking dept. you can use the bed from Revell's 56 to mock up the length or take one of the AMT later model ie: 80's/90's era short bed and use it as a guide and bed interior by removing the sides and cutting the MK box sides to fit. Just an idea!!! -
Hey gang, This link was posted on a local 1:1 car site here in MI but I thought I would share!! the first one is a little gruesome but it gets better!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfFYbQptp_w...feature=related
