  3. Very good work!!!! I have a suggestion about the rear fenders you may want to find an AMT 92-96 Flareside and use the rear fenders as a starting point as the already have the right radiused wheel opening.
  4. As a base 429 use the one from the Revell 70 Torino kits as it very nice.
  5. I too am overall impressed with their efforts as they seem to be headed in the right direction. I would like to see theearly/ mid 60's Ford p/u kit return as well as the 1/43rd stuff!! (a fella can dream can't he?)

  17. Thanks. The motor comes with it. It is a Y-block ford I made the carbs from rod and half round stock and there will be a scoop of some sort over them. I hope to have it done by Bay City or the 1/43 show in Chi-town in about a month.
  18. This is my Revell 56 Ford p/u customized Thanks to George Britnell I now have a windshield for it also I have made headers that will be seen in the next update. Also the pic was taken by a good friend John Wells

  21. It is a decent kit with pretty good fit I have a couple with one to be combined with some rod parts from the 30 Woody kit.

  23. Ooooh ooooh pick me!!!!!!! I know the answer At least I know the mfg they are from the old LS wheel and tire sets from the 80's they also included a lot of cool (then) detail parts like boom boxes, speakers, phones, stereo faces, fog and off road lights, racing seats. Hopefully someone else remembers these and may have pics!!!
  24. Try using a product called Strip Kit as it removes the chrome and the underlaying sealer. Then sanding should be fine.
  25. Is anyone going? I will be there Friday afternoon maybe early evening. I am not entering the model contest as I live too far away to pick it up Sunday. At any rate I am a large man and will be sporting a gray Grand Rapids Street Racers T-shirt and suspenders. It would be nice to put a face with some names.
