Nice paint job. I too have the maverick and the comet I want to do the Maverick like a local dealer did back in the 70's called the "Mod Maverck" by Keller Ford I plan on using the running gear and chassis from the "67" Mustang.

Hey Gang, A friend of mine brought me a flyer for the Motor City NNL #2 it is to be held at the Macomb Comm. College Sport and Expo ctr. on Nov. 19, 2006 the cost is $5.00 to enter the "Toy Show" and no fee for entries. There are two theme classes 1) "Hey that thing got a Hemi" anything with a hemi motor (me personally "Shotgun Hemi" :twisted: ) 2) "Tri- 5's" any vehicle from 1955, 56 or 57 and four other best of awards. I believe the decals in question are the ones in the mid-eighties re-pop of the 66 Ford Galaxie kit # 6518 as they were for the drag version of the car I have 2 kits but unfortunately no decals as I had this bad habit of pulling the decal sheets out of kits to keep them from damage but a housefire a few years ago (lost half of my collection other half in storage) cured me of that HTH

Actually it is out, kind of, it has been released as the Penske racing Corvette it is a modified re-pop of the "Black Rat" kit, it has some nice Torq Thrust D's. HTH

I built one with MRC Keystones and it looked sharp.

I am not sure of the exact date but I believe it is around the 1st or 2nd week of November it was a great show last year. I do know the main theme is any hemi. So being the Ford guy I am, I'll have a Boss 429 powered car there cause it is the "Shotgun Hemi"
