    Most excellent build Mark, I know how you feel about driving it, you would be amazed at what people will let you do for an 8x10 glossy of their car especially at a race track it is a great thing to be the photog sometimes!

    Are you gonna build a racer or stock? As I have some pics of a vintage racer from Michigan you could borrow. Note they are action shots.

    Amt's 66' Tbird would be more accurate and for an engine you could use the 390 Tbird or the 429 from Revell's 1970 Torino also the auto trans from the 66 Fairlane could be used although in reality it wouldn't bolt up to the 429 depends on how anal you are The main thing is have fun!

    Great job Gregg I always liked the Daytona and I agree about slicing the decals I also do military models and I see people do it there also.

    I agree it does look nice. When I get those blocks I usually look to the diecast kits. (also been known to get carried away with them also)

    I am planning on being there also as I live on the west side of the state and had a great time last year they had almost double the model turnout than they thought, at least thats what I heard.
