Great job so far! I built this kit a few years ago with the same winning box art. It's been sitting in a barn ever since. The frame was warped and the body was twisted and it took a ton of work to correct it. I almost gave up. Ended up stuffing a 409 in it.

I tried to parallel the efforts of Gene Winfield in performing the chop and tried to retain the stock trim and the stock flathead. Suspension lowered with mag wheels and headlight cowls extended are the only other mods. The amber running lamps and 59 Cadillac taillights from the JC Whitney catalog.
