  1. Cool.. My group never left. They came like clockwork all winter, even when it snowed or we had freezing rain.
  2. Quickly is how I'd be following you out the restaurant doors too as I'm screaming "Where's the Beef?"
  3. Many of those ills get my blood a boiling so I've opted out of turning on the local morning News in order to keep my sanity.
  4. Don't feel old buddy, Heck at almost 64 I still refuse to grow up, kid at heart. The 8 track unit I owned had a dash mount bracket and its two speakers permanently mounted on the sides. I used it in a few of my rides till it wore out. Those were the days!
  5. Same thought here. Also blue teeth are better than finding that your zipper is down and wide open. ?
  6. Karen that is wild will need that map that Little Timmy talks of for finding her way to that eternal fire in the bottomless pit
  7. Thing to remember is a Last Will and Testament is very important for us older folks to have in place because if you don't the state can take possession of all your belongings (Intestate) and your family gets screwed.
  8. Kitties can grow to large amounts in high stake poker games.
  9. Said to me by my dad as I was a teenager that its best to marry an ugly girl who is an orphan because no one will steal her from you and she'll love you for ever.
  10. Here's a Doyusha kit also of the same subject. I had just bought a 1980 AMC Spirit hatchback from the dealers when I laid eyes on the Plymouth Fire Arrow.. ?
  11. Nice.. I've always had a soft spot for VWs of any configuration. My brother and dad had several and my Dads uncle owned and operated a '66 Kombi w/ 1600 single port w/ its governor and oil bath air cleaner still in use for the 29 1/2 years he had it. It was originally owned by the U.S. Gov. and commissioned as a mail delivery van on a Marine base somewhere near Baltimore, MD until 1971 when Uncle Fred purchased it with 69,032 miles on her. He drove it up and down the East coat sight seeing and camping. Never knew the total miles it racked up over the years. It was purchased by an individual who also owns a 23- window Deluxe. Nice to know it was saved!
  12. Plastic model kit operation accumulation began years ago and hasn't been able to be stopped especially now that Round 2 has been spitting out new kits monthly.
  13. Brother that takes a load off my mind so let the bidding, buying and bargaining begin!
  14. This isn't an end of the world irk and actually started out as a "Holy Moly I can't believe my eyes". As I'm slowly going through my Dads furnishing, amongst Mom's old sewing stuff in the old Hoosier cabinet was this 1969 issued Revell Nomad .. Sadly it wasn't a kit and Mom had written in ink on the face and one side... Bummer but it's still a cool find from my younger years. I also found a few of our old family 8-track cassettes.. I'm starting to feel ancient but I'm enjoying the rekindled memories that every nook and cranny brings.
  15. Too many models in one's collection is not a bad thing, right?
  16. Sounds like the crazy weather we have here in Maryland.
  17. cannibalism is a tasteless act.
  18. Premium car insurance rates depend on many factors such as age, location and driving history.
