  1. dinner is what I just had with my wife after giving her a bouquet of flowers since I kinda forgot Valentines day
  2. Although it's been a very long time (years)? since I've been at my work bench but it still awaits patiently for my return as does the three projects that I've started. For now I'll consider myself a collector of both new and vintage kits. I hope to get back to building within the next year. As others have stated here about building, I'll never be able to build all 378 kits and still growing within my life time which brings me to what will become of my collection when I pass.. ?
  3. Always remember to zip your fly before leaving the public restroom and please don't forget to wash those hands.
  4. Thanks is Great News! My dad had prostate cancer years ago when the only way to deal with it was to remove it all. Unfortunately he never followed his doctors advice in performing kegel exercises to aid in strengthening those muscles. He became incontinent and had to deal with that decision till the day he passed. I hope and pray all goes well and you have no reoccurring issues.
  5. Oh rats.. Not good at all but look on the bright side if they didn't chew on any kits. You may have been lucky enough to have hobby rats.. Lol
  6. I'm currently in battle trying to score one of these kits. Yours looks great so far. Thanks for the insight on what to possibly expect when building, if I get lucky to make the purchase. I hope your recovery went well. Although many times we never heal as we were before our accidents.
  7. You know Les... now that you purchased a new scriber the old one is sure to reappear.
  8. Thanks Carl.. That kit originated as the Royal Knight ('78) then issued as the Branding Iron ('81) then the Red light Bandit ('81) and finally as the Monster El Camino truck ('85) There was a few promos that where issued in between those kits. All per scalemates info. I've been hunting the ref light Bandit for sometime, there's one on eBay as a buy now for an arm and leg..
  9. From last week, the sealed Red Light Bandit from an eBay auction and the '50 Ford was from Perry's toy exchange which is about 40 mins away. I found them on ebay.. Who knew? I sure didn't, but I do now. Saves on shipping and gets me out of the house.. ?
  10. Pure genius! Les.. It looks "grate" definitely not cheesy
  11. Dang.. No styling what so ever. Looks like a metal shop project. But that's just my opinion.
  12. This is to all of those here feeling ill, has the flu, caught Covid, medical issues gone a rye or whatever ails you... I hope and pray that everyone gets some relief and can recoup with positive results!
