  1. Boy, Dave you hit the nail on the head! Ends up I'll be having 3 teeth that broke at the gum line and another that sports a gold cap which has been apparently deteriorating underneath it, all to be extracted. I've chosen to have general anesthesia for the procedure since they are talking about the possibility of bone removal or cutting. All to the tune of $3,485.00 😬 Thankfully we do have dental insurance, just waiting to receive our new cards from the new provider.
  2. Yes, when one is determined they will accomplish the task. Ends up my tongue which has a mind of its own did the job to unsecure the broken piece saving the toaster from eminent destruction. This was before going to my consultation appointment today.
  3. "That I'll be the last time sir", said I as my fingers are crossed behind my back, plus I don't remeber ever getting that memo.
  4. Work while you whistle or is it's whistle at chics while they work?
  5. My pryor post regarding my broken tooth just got crazier. I did manage to make an appointment with the new oral surgeon which is later today and is only a consultation and costing $213.00 out a pocket. At least I've got my foot in the door. The new problem that arised is our Signa insurance provider is being switched to Delta and we haven't received our new cards and neither of us can find the old Signa cards. So until the new cards show up the oral surgeon's office is telling me we can either wait till the new cards show up to move forward with the extraction or pay out of pocket and be reimbursed later by Delta. What a pain that can be. Fingers crossed that the new cards show up soon or it'll be a toaster and string over the balcony removal...🥴
  6. Have not, want not, have some, give some, need one, take one are all good proverbs to follow.
  7. Them wallets will eventually become obsolete and what we know as legal tender will be replaced with a chip implanted in one's hand allowing the purchaser to draw funds from their allotted account regulated by the overlord in power.
  8. Dad and the gifting of a wallet seems to be a perpetual gift which makes me wonder, does a new wallet equate to more money to be loaned out in the coming year?
  9. Interest being paid on your balance was a selling point for opening a savings account as a kid back in the day, but it rarely amounted to anything.
  10. Much hollering and finger pointing would be directed at those pretty little things leaving dimples on my hood.
