  1. Puty, paint, box decals, photo etched parts, gel pen, and panel liner....
  2. WOW‼️ Beautiful work‼️ ???
  3. A little detail on the shifter ball with fine gel pens.....
  4. Thanks, but I can't take the credit for that idea....I remember seeing it being done by someone else online. ?
  5. Decided not to use the box stock Hurst Duel Gate shifter and installed a custom resin cast Hurst Quarter Stick shifter....just like what I put into my real Cutlass back in the day. ?
  6. Thanks ? Those are decals that come with the kit. I had to cut them into 2 pieces at the door seam because they were a little short. But the are very nicely printed for stock decals.
  7. Door panels...... The lower section still needs to be flocked. Thanks for looking ?
  8. I brush the clear Elmer's glue right out of the bottle without thinning it. A lot of people don't like the clear glue because they say it isn't as strong as white glue and obviously paint. For me, it's just personal preference.... I want to try the Elmer's white glue just to see if there really is a difference. Thanks for the great words of encouragement ?
  9. Finished the Oldsmobile Rocket 455. Now on to the interior.....paint and flocking the floor pan and rear deck. And in case you're wondering, yes I am still doing body work on the Hardtop conversion part of this build.....?
  10. Same here, I'm 59 and I'm building a lot off of memories as a child at the race track and through my adulthood..... Keeps it fun?
  11. That is looking super good!!! I'm impressed with the direction the whole build is going....glad to see you back at it! ?
  12. I'm always hunting ebay for those exact set of wheels....they work great on all kinds of builds. ?
  13. I know I said I'm done with this build but I came across these 4 spoke "Cragars" and wanted to see how they would look on the Celica...... Front tires are from a Bluebird, rear is from a Pinto. Thoughs.....? Keep in mind this is just a mockup..... Thanks for looking guys. ?
  14. The roof conversion looked close enough to spray primer down to bring out any imperfections in my body work.....looks like I got a little more bodywork to do. Other than that, I'm still very pleased with how this Oldsmobile is coming along. Thanks for all the encouragement guys. ?
  15. Does anyone clear coat over their photo etched parts, or do you recommend it? Or don't recommend it? Options for protecting them once applied to the model..... Thanks everyone ?
  16. Super cool!!! ???
  17. Took a break from all the putty and sanding......and started putting together the Oldsmobile 455 "Rocket" Motor.
  18. Next up on my cutting mat..... The first car I ever owned. Revell 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible with a 1970 AMT Monte Carlo donor body to convert the Olds convertible to a Hardtop. Still a lot of putty and sanding to do, but it's getting there......
  19. A little bit of camber.....
  20. Body and chassis just about ready to be mated...
  21. I just finished my 63 Nova Wagon not to long ago...super fun build. Your wagon looks great....keep us all updated on the progress.
  22. The under carriage of this curbside kit...
  23. Super cool....let the madness continue
  24. Interior almost done....
