  1. I like what you did with it. spot on paint job and photography. Nice and realistic background.
  2. Great looking Pete. Great color choice and I agree, Italeri produces some very fine kits. The tires threads look pretty good. Your experience at building trucks is clearly on display here. Congratulations on a well done job Alex.
  3. You did a great job on a not so easy kit. There are a lot of fit issues but you nailed it . It looks great in this configuration.
  4. Great build, I love everything Vw of that era, I have built many of them. Beautiful setting in the first photo.
  5. Great looking little dodge.
  6. Super nice and clean Ford, I like the color contrast with the grille.
  7. Welcome to the playground Harry. Beautiful 37 BTW
  8. Welcome to the forum Matt. Looking at your build, you're in the right place. Beautiful GTO.
  9. Thanks Rich, to be honest, when I opened the box, I wasn't sure if I wanted to build this, but the box art inspired me somehow. Judging by all the positive comments from others and yourself, I am glad I built it. Thanks Dennis. Thank you Bruce.
  10. Wow Bart , I thought the first photos were 1/25 scale. Great craftsmanship to bring this little 'stand to that level.
  11. Thanks Helmut for your kind words. Thanks David. Thanks Patrick. I sure wasn't easy to put that one together. Thanks Rusty, I appreciate it Thanks so much Anders Thanks Hector.
  12. thanks Bob Thanks Bob thanks Mike. To me, subject mater takes precedence over kit manufacturer we are lucky to have those old kits re issued, warts and all. I am glad it turned out like this, Merci Claude, I wanted to present it in the best possible light, like a restored car would be.
  13. Thanks Bob Thank Scott
  14. Great job on a simplified kit but still a nice representation. Having built both the Tamiya and Aoshima, I can tell you there is a world of difference. Although superior to Tamiya the Aoshima kit is much trickier but much more detailed. Be careful when you install the doors , they are very delicate.
  15. Thanks guys. Glad you like it. Thanks Steve. It sure was a rough ride, especially after building a modern Tamiya kit. Merci Phillipe. Thanks David. Thanks Ray. Thanks Chaz, I appreciate it. Thanks Larry. Thanks Doyle. Colleagues at work get often tricked by my wallpapers on my computer. Thanks for the link John, an interesting story. I'm glad they did that kit even if it's flawed. Thanks Bill Thanks Mike. I'm glad it's finished. Thanks Glenn. cheers from a Canadian neighbor.
  16. Thanks Rich,
  17. Beautiful nova. Great color and clean details.
  18. Awesome build. Great details.
  19. Looks pretty good . It could easily pass for a bigger scale.
  20. great build. nice and clean decal work.
  21. Superb build and the garage is just as impressive. Great work on both.
  22. I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this. An old kit for sure, the multi piece body design is not the most accurate. This thing fought me all the way. The top doesn't fit properly and and basically , everything else. I wanted to reproduce the box art. Not my best piece for sure but , here it is. It's not bad but not great either. Not an expert so I don't know if the proportions are right, they look ok to me. The top is painted Tamiya pure white and the body is tamiya bright red. I knew what I was getting but it's the only choice that I know of. thanks for looking.
  23. Great job on the restauration. Giving a second life to a kit is very satisfying.
  24. That's a great looking rod Jim. I like the orange, especially in the sunlight.
  25. I just love this. Great idea and perfect execution. Gorgeous paint job.
