Think it was a '63 or '64 Catalina. -

My AMT 1/25 dirt bike kits arrived yesterday. I might build all 6 and try to replicate a few my dad had like the 360 DT. I was never big enough to ride it, but I was told it was a screamer. Not for the timid.

Even though I love every one of these songs, each one is a complete rip off of the other.

What non-auto model did you get today?
Mike C. replied to chunkypeanutbutter's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I would have sprung for the big bore IT but the 175 was within my price range. I was just out of high school. It was still drum brakes and air cooled for me. -
My list remains unchanged, except for the Bronco that's out now and the Ford pickup that Texas 3D customs now offers the '73 grill for.

Still no reply. Pretty ignorant if you ask me. Still working with PayPal to get my refund. -

I later graduated to this bike. It was the first big ticket item I ever bought. First thing that required a payment book. !t was a brand-new leftover from the previous year. Something like $1,400. Googled photo. I can't believe I never took any pics of my favorite bike. I literally was able to pick this bike up and walk around with it. ? -
My dad served and my grandfather served in the Pacific during WW2. I'm glad they both made it back. Big salute.

68-72 Suburban scratch build

Coming along nicely Karl! Good to see you are getting back on this one. We had a '71(4-speed, small block) and a '72 (auto, big block) in the family growing up. Both had the van style doors in the rear. Both were 4x4. -

2 of the 1/25 AMT Yamaha dirt bike packs. With one, I hope to replicate my dad's '74, DT 175 that I grew up to thoroughly thrash. Probably learned most on this bike. -
Just won 2 more of those AMT Yamaha dirt bike 2 packs. I'm in 1/25 motorcycle heaven. Might trade one of them!
