Not really into the first gen Broncos. More a fan of the 2nd gen.

This thread inspired me to go on Feebay and get one last night. So what if it's a curbside, snap together. These are really good looking when complete. Already have parts in the bins for my build.

Sounds like another Motor City resin. ??

Any new news on Olson Bros? I've been wanting to order more winch bumper sets. but I'm unsure of the future of this Co.

Just picked up one of these on feebay. Sealed kit! Sure, these are curbside, snap kits, but the are 1/25 and will work with the bin full of parts from the deserter kit alone and are really good looking when finished. I have an Olson bros. winch bumper set that will fit (not too sure about the future of that co.). Already have a set of Fireball tires in the bin picked out for this one. I'm thinking the 1/25 wheels from the Deserter kit will look nice with this kit. Should be nice on the shelf in the end.

Thats a shame. I always felt she was the hotter one. Didn't realize she was that old R.I.P.

Nothing that really blows my hair back this month. My wallet can get a breather. Of course, Christmas. Nice to see that Aqua team van re-issue.

I'm just remembering now, an interesting story my dad told me about our green F-250. Years ago, we had a contract with the city of Philadelphia for snow removal. The truck and an old Cat road grader were among the equipment we had down there. The grader kept breaking down so eventually, they got a chain or cable or something and towed it around the city to keep it on the clock for the rest of the shift. That gives you an idea of the you the torque this truck had.

Found another pic online. Looks pretty good. Ours had that sealed knuckle Dana rear in the front as well.

They are nice looking kits in the end. Adding some detail and an engine would sweeten the deal for me. And don't be afraid to toss in those pickup mirrors. -

Wow! That looks nice Peter. My cousin had the S&S carb on his Low Rider, and I thought it always looked cool. Thanks for the pic. -
Sorry Ray.

Do you mean the snap kit? If I remember correctly, it was either a curbside, or the engine detail left a lot to be desired. They did build up to be pretty nice looking though. If they would address these issues, I would be all over at least one kit. -

Pretty sure it's a relief put there so that you can get the interior tub to fit inside during assembly. I would imagine it's the same reason Revell makes the rear wall of the cab a separate piece. -
Thanks Mike. I plan to try and replicate the one like my cousin bought new and eventually sold it to my dad to use as a company truck (We had an excavating business). Another one of my cousins who was an operator, used it as a daily driver for a few years. It had one of those white, fiberglass caps on it. Eventually, they put a Myers snowplow on it for snow duty. I can even remember driving it for a good while. People would always offer me money for it. I still remember that tall 4-speed sticking up from the floor. Black rubber floor mats and stark interior. The thing had gobs of torque. It was geared like a bulldozer. I wonder wht ever became of it. It looked a lot like this one but was a little lighter green.

Gotta go up near that place today. Maybe I'll take a peek inside. -
Hi Mike,> I guess mostly the suspension, plow and other goodies. You could probably snap a few pics of the trees and decals and stuff. Thanks.

Thats the same route I went for the Freewheelin' Bronco kit. Saves you a boatload on shipping costs.
