I did go back and take a 2nd look at HPI guys YouTube video. The camper is from Hobby Burger. It's an Ebay store they have some stuff but no roll bars and the like. I did order some of these finger surfboards from Ebay. They look like they will work with 1:18. Those fins are really tedious to scratch build and they come with leashes. ?

I think I stumbled onto a whole untapped market for 3D printing. I recently purchased one of those FMS 1:18 Chevy K-10 trucks. Apparently, nobody is seeming to offer any goodies for these. The usual stuff like roll bars, brushguards, off road lights, winch bumpers and even driver figurines. Weve all seen this truck on HPI Guys channel and apparently a camper type cap is offered but that seems to be it. These 1:18 RCs seem to be gaining some popularity. Charles, I see on your site (Texas 3D Customs) that you have a 1:18 off road accessory set and that seems like a good start. Maybe some roll bars and stuff in the future?

Finally broke down and ordered one of these. FMS RC 1:18 Chevy K-10 pickup. Now I can use a few of my many 1:18 dirt bikes to put in the back and I'm thinking about a new paint scheme for this one. The only problem, I can't seem to find any of the aftermarket goodies for these. In on video on YouTube, the guy says the brushguard , rollbar and KC lights all come from Shapeways. Looked on their site and couldn't find them anywhere. Shapeways had a terrible search feature.

I'm thinking about getting one of these. Does anybody know where you can get the extra goodies like the roll bars, brush guards, KC lights, wheels/tires and stuff that I see all over YouTube? In one video, the guy says there from Shapeways, but I find their site impossible to search stuff.

Post your truck mockups.

In the end, this will be part car and part truck so I'll post it in this thread. I've been amassing parts for this build for a better part of the past year. Now I have just about everything to build a 1/16 '55 Nomad 4x4. I got the rears and suspension from a 1/16 Revell Chevy pickup and the wheels/tires are 1/18 from ACME. -
My 1/18 off road, wheel/tire set from GMP, Firestone Wide Oval sets, some decals and some scale helmets arrived today.

I remember a bunch of us used to listen to this in the car coming back after surfing.

Technically it was yesterday but that Vikings comeback from 33 -0 against the Colts. I gave up on that game before halftime.

I never saw an albino squirrel, but I have seen one black one. Doubted they existed until I saw one with my own eyes. ?

The AMT 1/25 Firestone Wide Oval sets must be hitting the shores on the West coast. Just Ordered 3 sets from a west coast eBay store.

ACME 1/18 "Feathers" Blazer. Had this one on pre-order for over a year. Supercars finally sent it to me today. Stock photo. Haven't gotten a chance to un-box it yet.

I learned to use good old Elmers's glue from this board. Sometimes that tacky stick stuff for hanging posters. Sometimes they will stay together for the picture. -
Your biggest blunder

To add insult to injury. that front fender was fabricated from a plastic spoon after I found the original was missing. The picture above is before all this happened. I could post pics of the devastation, but it's too painful. Worst yet, I have many replacement dirt bikes that I could put in the Suzuki's place, but they are all 1/18. A little too small for this.
