  1. I can remember back in the mid 80s, they were taken over by some other company and they changed the name to M-Star. After that I kind of lost track of what became of them. I have seen there has been a resurgence as of late.
  2. They were German. Don't know who took them over. Many point to them as the best off road bike ever made.
  3. I got a Maico diecast in 1:18 a few minutes ago. As far as I know, this one and the enduro version are the only Maico's that exist in scale.
  4. As far as I could see, it looked like everything was there. We'll see when it gets here. If Round 2 still has this tooling, the time it right to re-release it.
  5. That reminds me I gotta go set some more of those sticky traps. I think they figured out the old-fashioned one's years ago.
  6. My MPC, sealed, snaptight Blazer kit arrived today. Looking forward to customizing this one.
  7. I'd like to add this one to the list. Just the bikes, trailer and gear would be fine.
  8. Got another motorcycle themed kit on feebay , I really only wanted the trailer and Huskys but The Datsun 620 pickup is kind of cool looking with its small block Chevy engine with headers. The extra gear is nice. If Round 2 still has the tooling for this, they should at least re-release the bikes and trailer with gear.
  9. You can make any color flat by spraying over it with flat clear. https://www.modelroundup.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=Tamiya+flat+clear
  10. I put them right-side up with an old plastic lid from an old container on top. That way no unwanted creepy crawlies get in them.
  11. Creeper Lagoon - Take Back the Universe and Give Me Yesterday.
  12. You and Your Sister - Teenage Fanclub. Chris Bell cover.
  13. Not to be a stickler but I can remember on both of our family 1:1s the middle seat was slightly shorter on the rear curbside door side to allow the very rear passengers to get back there. If you are trying to go really factory correct.
  14. Noticed something at the end of the instruction sheet on the FLH kit. This "pocket bike"
  15. Well I got the Steel rod. I'm afraid the aluminum would break instead of bending. I also picked up some Tubing because last time I tried to drill out something this small, it ended in a catastrophe. Friday around 10:30 HL was already jam packed with Christmas shoppers. I got my nephew a couple of dirt bike kits (the kid is already obsessed with motorcycles) I figure I'll try to introduce him to model building. Also swung by the post office to pick up my Suzuki kit from Japan. I did notice that HL had the Wild Hoss Bronco kits and the Revell '66 Chevelle kits on the shelves.
  16. The Chills - Creep
  17. Good idea Leroy. I'm headed to HL tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the tip.
  18. If you need, I have a few extra of those beds. PM me if interested.
  19. FLH and Honda with rider arrived today. Suzuki RM 250 is at the post office (guess I gotta go pick it up). On the Harley seller never did tell me the handle bar was broken and missing. Haven't decided how to correct this yet. Like these bars on the FLH. Bars are pretty delicate. Anybody have any ideas. Would be greatly appreciated.
  20. Joe strummer in some Jim Jarmusch film with Steve Buscemi. Joe Strummer, Elvis Costello, Shane MacGowan, Courtany Love, Dennis Hopper and Grace Jones in straight to hell. Nick Cave in some movies. John Doe in many movies and TV. Robyn Hitchcock in the Manchurian Candidate (remake). Mark E. Smith in 24-hour party people. Steve Earle in Leaves of grass. Robbie Robertson in the crossing guard. Urge Overkill in Kingpin and Waynes World 2, Nancy Wilson in Fast times at Ridgemont high. Tom Waits in many movies. Lee Ving in movies and TV Liz Phair in movies. Lemmy Kilmister in movies and TV. Philip Baker Hall (Bookman from Seinfeld) and Courtney Love in Sid and Nancy.
