  1. With the inevitable demise of Olson brothers. Who will be our new go to supplier for winch bumpers to fit 1/24 and 1/25 Ford, Chevy Dodge and Jeep trucks with the Warn and Hickey winch bumpers. Maybe even some tubular and newer style bumpers.
  2. I had a battery powered Dremel years ago. After many re-charges the batteries will lose their capacity to charge. I've had a variable speed, plug in ever since. For me, this is the way to go.
  3. Just won one of these on eBay. New year's resolution: Stope buying kits and get back to building some.
  4. Finally pulled the trigger on one of these. Ordered a Rat motor to transplant into it as well.
  5. Shame. From the little I know about her; she had a complicated life. R.I.P.
  6. Joseph takes a while sometimes, but he'll get back. My guess is that he's probably pretty busy at the moment.
  7. I can remember having Truth on vinyl as well as a few others. Boat loads of Yardbirds stuff. Even a bootleg or 2.
  8. I can remember seeing him on an episode of My Classic Car. He had a replica of Milner's Deuce Coupe from American Graffiti among other things.
  9. The Movin' Out van looks like a repainted ambulance. ?
  10. That sucks. I was a fan. I was just telling one of friends the Jeff Beck never seems to age over the years. Great guitarist. R.I.P.
  11. Heloo Steve. I have one of the 1/25 Huskys but I was thinking of trading the entire kit for another one. It's actually 2 kits in one. Its the Revell Mean Mudder Chevy van kit and it comes with that very bike as well as some other goodies. I'm combining it with the Revell custom van (Stardust Express) so that you will be able to build it either way or a combination of the 2. Now these 2 kits only come with one van body. The model I'm hoping to trade is the Monogram 1/24 Desert Rat, Chevy 4x4 van.

I understand, I just need the Bike anyway. I will keep my eyes open for you.

I didn't want to pay a bunch just for the Bike.

  12. Also, I like any van model that has a lift off roof so that you can show off that custom interior. After all, that's part of the reason vans got so popular back in the 70s. Gas prices and insurance premiums killed the whole muscle car craze and people were on to the next thing. Nobody bought a van because of the performance.
  13. The whole reason I ordered a '73 El Camino from him was because I saw at least 3 people on this board display their builds and had an idea of one I would like to do. At the time, people seemed to be raving about Motor City resin, so I jumped in. I emailed Jeff numerous times. Telling him to at least stop taking orders. Thats just IGNORANT! Plain and simple.
  14. Pretty sure I bought one of these for my nephew years ago. He's way too young to know about the movie.
  15. Sweet! I loved the look of the original Bigfoot.
  16. ARRRRGHH! Thats a drag. That car is going to look sweet with those Cragar's and white letter Goodyears. I'm staying tuned.
  17. I found this old one from when we were kids back in the 70s. Summer, Wildwood NJ. My dad took my mom's '70 Torino and traded in for this Grand Prix. My mon later said she hated that car. That's my mom driving and 2 of my aunts on the sidewalk. Us kids are in the back.
  18. Retool both of them to be a little less hideous looking and they might sell. I don't know why every company seems to mess with the stock '75-'77 Chevy van grill. IMO these were really nice looking. And that side door on the Big Bad Van has to go.
  19. The Clean - Tally Ho. Single
  20. Marvin Gaye - Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler).
  21. Swede - Metal Mickey - Royal Albert Hall
  22. Dazed and Confused - Led Zeppelin. Jake Holms cover.
