  1. I have a 1/24, Monogram CJ7 coming soon and I'm looking all over to see what sort of resin goodies are available for these. Stuff like tubular winch bumpers and whatever parts for these kinds of Jeeps.
  2. This one used to be my "holy grail" but since I was able to find a vintage kit 2 or so years ago, I guess I'm on to another one.
  3. Picked this up on febay for cheap because it was missing the spare tire (which I have many of in the parts bin) and the instruction sheet. I got inspired from this board to get one of these. They seem to build up pretty nice. A Wheel/tire change is the first thing. I haven't built a CJ7 before. Should be cool.
  4. Brings me back. ?️
  5. These Are nice. I have 3 of them.
  6. Toss up between my GSX, Meyers Manx or my Challenger T/A.
  7. Paper Sun - Paul Weller. Traffic cover.
  8. Man they really got huge over the years. The whole thig was started by Rob Dickenson. Frontman for the great band The Catherine Wheel. He was restoring older Porshe's for years. He must have sold it to this new CEO.
  9. Soul Kitchen - Echo and the Bunnymen. Doors cover. Saw them do this live at Rutgers university with the late, great Ray Manzarek playing keyboards.
  10. Thanks. I guess they decided to stop televising them.
  11. What ever happened to their motorcycle auction? I was a fan. ?️
  12. Hoorayyy! ?
  13. I will say that the tires and wheels leave a little to be desired.
  14. I pretty much bought that vintage kit for the bikes and the trailer. upon closer inspection, the truck looked nice as well.
  15. Was thar the version with the factory 4 banger?
  16. I just assumed that Revell bough them up like they did with so many others. I wouldn't have thought that this particular truck was so popular back then. I thought it was from the same tooling. Live and learn, I suppose.
  17. It's based on the same mold. Revell absorbed Monogram some years ago.
  18. Have the stepside version of this kit with the trailer and 2 Husqvarna's with gear. Gave me some ideas on how to build it. Mine has the small block Chevy engine with the headers. No tilt front clip. Waaaay back of the line to build.
  19. This was more like the last couple of days. Got some ideas for these. The tires are Formula Desert Dogs from Modelhaus. Not really a snowmobile fan (too cold) so look for the snowmobile in the trade section.
  20. I've been waiting for the re-release of the stock squarebody Blazers. Even though I have 1 gluebomb and one vintage Monogram kit based on this tooling. I still can't understand why Revell would re-release this version of the kit when everyone clearly wants the stock Blazer kit.
  21. I remember that place well. Saw The Smithereens there back in the late 80s. Then years later when my friends were still in the Philly band Marah, The Boss himself had a private party there with them. they all played on stage. My friend (who played bass) has the picture of him and Springsteen singing into the mic. hanging in his kitchen.
  22. Starting to shape up nicely. Always liked the look of those Fuchs wheels on the early bugs. ??
  23. Thanks Mike. I was wondering about that grill and the bench seat sounds good also. Who do I contact to PM him here?
