  1. Well done, I really like the wood grain decals.
  2. I can't understand why you would want to get rid of those awesome pink flames. Great save on that glue bomb.
  3. Great work on this one, I really like the vintage stock cars because they looks so much like street cars.
  4. Great work, nice combo.
  5. Update time, I installed the blower drive setup, the fuel tanks, fuel tank mounts and the fuel pump. I only have to install the headers before I start the plumbing. I think this will be the last update before I finish. I may just start a new thread for the finished model. All comments welcome.
  6. This is such a beautiful build, and the detail on the engine is perfect.
  7. Great work on your build so far Chris, I really like the idea of 3D printed parts, but to be honest they do appear to have a lot of texture at least to my eyes.
  8. Great start, that front end looks a little like some of the vintage Ferrari's from the 1960's.
  9. As with all your builds outstanding, I have always liked these little cars.
  10. Thanks Carl, yep I think the kit part is a little to small and the real car had 2 lol. It's also hard to tell from my reference pics but I think that one of the fuel tanks may be sectioned off and is being used as an oil tank as there are lines going from the engine to a couple of cylinders with caps and than to one of the tanks. I will make the mounts for both tanks and than some plumbing and I think I will be finished.
  11. Yep that is one awesome paint job.
  12. Got an update on the fuel tanks. The chrome tank on the left in both pics is the stock part not really the correct shape and may be a little small I also needed 2 of them. The first pics shows the tanks in their raw state and the second shows a bit of shaping after about 15 minutes.
  13. Nice bird, don't think I have ever seen one in this color before looks pretty good like that.
  14. Nice work on all those decals, they always make me nuts.
  15. Great build, you shore did a lot of work to convert it.
  16. Thanks for all the great comments guys.
  17. Well done Richard, I think this is one of the best builds you have done super sharp.
  18. Great work as with all your builds, your craftsmanship and attention to detail always amaze me.
  19. Thanks Josh, it's my favorite part to.
  20. I love a model car with character and this has a lot of it, well done.
  21. 5 dollar glue bomb, amazing what you can do with 5 bucks, nice build.
  22. I really like it, very creative.
  23. Well done ,great engine detail.
  24. Time for an update, I installed the steering gear, wheelie bars, and the engine. I still have to add the headers, blower drive, fuel tanks and do some plumbing.
  25. I love a good dio, very well done.
