  1. Does anyone on here use Starlink and would you be willing to have a conversation about it? As I’ve written before, our new place is out in the county. We have internet through Windstream at a whopping 3 Mbps. Swift is running fiber optics’s out our way, but heaven only knows when that’s going to happen. Seriously considering Starlink but I have a couple of questions. Thank you for reading
  2. It was a cool 70 degrees this morning. Heading to a high of 91 and the humidity is supposed to be pretty low today and tomorrow.
  3. I like the idea of being able to buy and sell. Speaking as someone who returned to the hobby a couple of years ago, I don’t really have much of a parts stash (yet) and don’t have any kits that I want to trade off. Being able to buy kits without breaking the rules would be great.
  4. That’s terrible news. I hate it for you. My closest true hobby shop is three hours away in Little Rock.
  5. This is more of a definition request. For the most part, I enjoy building non NASCAR short track models, the kind that you would see at your local asphalt or dirt track. When I first started posting here, I posted in the LSR, road racing or “anything not listed” section. This was due to my thinking that the NASCAR section was for Cup, Xfinity (soon to be O’Reilly’s), the trucks, etc. Maybe change the NASCAR sections to Oval Track or change the definition under the section name to include all oval track race cars.
  6. I’m with @Ace-Garageguy. While I don’t do patreon, PayPal, etc. I would gladly support via a check or money order.
  7. As a proud Tennessean (currently living in Arkansas), I’m pretty partial to Bristol. It’s a great track to see a race, but the post race traffic is rough. At least it used to be, haven’t been in several years. Talladega is something everyone should experience once. The speeds are amazing. That said, you can’t see the whole track from most seats and like all NASCAR tracks, the cram you in like sardines. If you ever do make it over here, be sure to allow some extra days to go to a local short track. That’s where the real racing takes place now.
  8. @gami8630, Have you ever came to the U.S. for a NASCAR race?
