  1. Not trying to hijack the thread, just remembered something. Do any of you remember when the AMT Matador kit came out? I bought one as soon as Woolworths stuck them on the shelf. There was an order form for a red, white and blue AMC Racing Team insulated jacket. My mother ordered one for me. I had the old Winton Cup (looked like a cigarette pack with a checkered flag) and Goodyear patches sewn on. Man, you couldn't tell me anything when I got that jacket!
  2. Great work! I always liked the Matador because it was different.
  3. Great work Bob!
  4. WOW Bob, that car looks great! I like everything about it, especially the color combination. Did you have to do a lot of modifications for fitment? The '55, '56 and '57 had such high roofs, I figured that you might have had to extend the A and B pillar bars?
  5. Nice job on your Falcon! Like Rattlecan Dan said, you do a good job on the modified stockers.
  6. Heck yes, I love it! Really like it sitting beside the "smokey gray" helmet. Has she seen the new smokey gray uniform for this year? GO BIG ORANGE!!!!!!
  7. @satterwhite78, are those the Junkie Donlevy (sp?) owned #90's from the Chameleon sunglasses car? I say it like that because I can't remember who drove Junie's car then. Dick Brooks I think? Those are all great looking models! Really liking the orange and white #90 'Cuda.
  8. Thank you, she was 7lbs caught on Lake Chickamauga when I was living in east TN. Strike King swim bait.
  9. Great looking "phantom" @PatW, your's too @bobss396!
  10. That's a great looking replica. That particular car was one of my favorite Bud Moore owned race car's. I like the simplicity of the paint job on most of Bud's cars. Thank you for posting it.
  11. I'm still here Mark! Looking at your WIP updates on Short Track Forum too. I won't tell a soul about the scale thing.
  12. I'll definitely be getting one of those vans, probably a T-bird too. I love the vans from the 70's.
  13. You got me beat! I can only imagine what the prices were. When I was a teenager, the Auto World catalog stayed on my bedside table.
  14. Sorry brother, I didn't look at that and she's already packed it away. I'll try to find it and see.
  15. Moderators, wasn't sure where to put this. Feel free to move it if needed. We're going to be moving into our new (to us) house when I'm finished with the remodeling in the next month or so. My wife has been packing, donating and throwing stuff away. She found an old 1977 Auto World catalog of mine from my high school days. Prices are pretty crazy.
  16. Wow!!! You do some fine work. Looks great.
  17. I'll definitely be getting one of these! One of my favorite body styles. As for the other b/s about older models, I don't care. Keep cranking them out Round 2!
  18. Wow, what a beautiful model! Well done.
  19. @bobss396, Sure am looking forward to seeing that '56 Ford!!!
  20. As always @bobss396, your work is spot on. I was thinking about this wip just the other day. For me, anything with an inline six gets my attention.
  21. Beautiful, great looking truck and color choices.
  22. I'm looking forward to the Mopar circle track car and the Buick Riviera. I'll pick up at least two of the Mopar's.

    1979 Nova

Very nicely done, looks like the real thing. I really like the color. Well done.
  24. Sorry that I'm late to the game. I'm really liking this. Like @Horrorshow said, I love the stance on this car.
