Absolutely boggles my mind how people can take something so innocent and ruin it. That’s the watered down version of what I told @stitchdup. I really appreciate the job that y’all do around here.

I was going to leave this alone as I had already said what I had to say. However, @Xingu, the reason that I originally titled my post “9/11 not political” was A. Because it wasn’t and B. I didn’t want anyone, including the moderators, to think that it was. Not directed at anyone in particular. The fact that some people want to make a post remembering the innocent lives lost that day and the lost lives of my fellow veterans and law enforcement brothers and sisters to this very day into some political gotcha, conspiracy theory or anything else for that matter is asinine to me. But, that’s just me. As I mentioned, I am one of the OP’s. @stitchdup was in communication with me and I fully support all of his decisions.

I am the OP of the 9/11 thread. The original title was “9/11, not political”. @stitchdup had a nice PM chat about and he changed the title to “9/11 Rememberance” as we both agreed that there’s no way a 9/11 never forget post would get political. We were both wrong. The first reply is the only one that I saw and it wasn’t political but I trust his judgement and he was in communication with me concerning the matter. I appreciate that and approve his actions. Let this be the end of this.

Waking up to a beautiful, unseasonably cool morning pleased me a great deal. Today is my beautiful wife’s birthday. Really enjoyed giving her the gifts that I got for her before she headed off to be a nurse.
