  1. Great job on one of my favorite cars of all time! I owned the '92 Dodge Stealth RT in red, and the same year 3000GT in blue. Both cars were driven over a 100k each and were tons of fun to drive!
  2. Eran, you are clearly a weathering master! Just awesome how realistic this build is. Thank you for posting!
  3. Thanks Todd. I do recall it being a bit finicky
  4. Thank you gentlemen, it was a pleasure to find this old build and put it back on display.
  5. Thank you Craig. I couldn't agree more, as one of the more beautiful kit-bashes of this model came from our friend @Phil Dauphinee and his gorgeous 1948 Ford Woody resto-mod seen here:
  6. Thank you David. The side decals were actually extras from an Atlantis Tom Daniel Pie Wagon kit, but seemed right at home here.
  7. I discovered a blast from the past this morning...a Revell Aerovette I did probably 20 years ago. Doesn't look bad from a trottin' horse
  8. Hello All, I was looking to throw a quick build together in between bigger projects, and chose an AMT 1939 Wagon Rod. In this case, I went with their ProShop series which already had the body and parts painted. Unboxing revealed some great surprises from this 90's era resto-mod, including an Art Morrison frame, air spring suspension, 9" Ford rear axle, and fully custom interior. Most exciting for me though was the dual overhead cam LT5 engine mated to a Borg-Warner 5 speed manual. I liked this engine so much that I decided to spend the extra effort to wire it. Assembly was fairly straightforward, but required careful attention to instructions as order of installation and orientation of parts were at times a bit vague. Having said that, the level of detail continued to impress with rack-and-pinion steering, disc brakes, etc. I have seen variations of this kit with chrome parts trees, however this variation had no chrome whatsoever - settling instead for silver paint. Since I wanted to bring the bling back to this beauty, I decided to try the Revell Chrom Spray I recently obtained, and all I can say is "WOW"! It is definitely the chromiest chrome I have used out of a spray can. It is pricey, and still requires gentle handling so as not to dull the finish, but the effect is excellent. Without further ado, here is the finished product all ready for show and go!
  9. Great job Andria! I love seeing these 70's land yachts memorialized in scale
  10. Sexy FRS! Best of luck on your move, and hope to see you back to building soon
  11. Fantastic color choice and paint job!
  12. Two wicked sexy beasts!
  13. Thank you kindly Carl
  14. Thank you much all. The paint job was one of the best I've achieved so far. Live and learn I guess.
  15. Beautiful presentation Ken! I love these rare oldies. Thank you for posting!
  16. Sweet build, especially the body finish! Thanks for posting.
  17. Man, I forgot what beautiful lines this car had! And your build certainly did it justice. Thanks for posting!
  18. Total beauty Bob! I especially like what you did under the hood.
  19. Looking good! I did the C7 Corvette in this series, and likewise found it a well-detailed quick builder.

Jeremy, that is one sexy beast right there! I love the stance and just right amount of bling!
  21. This kit turned out to be far more fun than I thought as it was a straightforward build. Probaby the toughtest part was choosing the color to go with. I kept playing around with the cool blue shades others have done on this site, which made all kinds of sense given the theme. In the end though, I gave Tom Daniel the nod by going with Tamiya Camel Yellow. There are a few minor modifications, the most obvious being the relocated dash. Otherwise, it's pretty much OOB. I hope you enjoy.
  22. Great build Bob! That car always put a smile on one's face wherever it went, and your build is no exception. Lore has it that the two seats were put in the back to get around regulations, but who knows. As it was, those seats became the little truck's most endearing feature Thank you for posting.
