  5. ROCON in Rochester NY 9/21/25 was an amazing show! Huge turnout, amazing builds and a great vender market.
  6. So much fire a quick easy build…tonight was adding bolts to the mounting plates on the rear end. (Raiding my model train stash). Actually a productive evening. Everything sanded one last time to 2000 and ready for base colors. I’m also building a completely box stock Sidewinder right now too so they will show beside each other.
  7. Getting the headlights worked out and these are going to be it. Woodlites from Iceman Collections. Crazy cool looking lights that were on a bunch of the Barris builds!
  8. She made her show debut at NNL Buffalo a couple weeks ago. Lots of comments and some still like show rods. She will make it to an IPMS show this weekend in Rochester.
  9. I’m on the fence if I’m keeping that wing. Might use a top fuel one I have. Might go smooth roof too
  10. This afternoon’s project, upgrade the weird curved wheelie bars. I think it’s time for some pizza and wings!
  11. Looks like the one on the left. MCW color shift red/gold over gloss black
  12. Progress tonight but not much visually. The silly little plastic driveshaft had to go, so a VCG resins universal joint and aluminum driveshaft was fabricated. As it will show sitting so high in the back. Kinda neat.
  13. Those boots are from Pro-tech
  14. First coat of primer on and sanded to 2000. Another coat tomorrow. I was worried about the fenders clearing those tires but looks like it’s ok. However I will be adding some brass rods for support. Just look way too weak. Enough for today.
  15. Bodywork being done, super tedious. I glue the body parts together before paint. Then get all the seams smoothed out so there are no seams. Doing the interior is like building a ship in a bottle after, but worth it. Added seams so the rear doors so they look like they function. First mock up for ride height. Down super low, as some this evil slithering down the road should be!
  16. My Milner car won Best Engine at the NNL show today in Buffalo!
  17. Less than 48 to the Buffalo NNL! Cars all all polished up and detailed. Ready to be packed up!
  18. Tires and wheels all sanded and true, ready for paint. Fitting the block is going very tedious but making progress.
  19. It’s a fantasy of the Mopar Slant 6, in a “what if”. It’s from VCG Resins. Very cool
  20. Gaia Star bright brass over Tamiya metallic black.
  21. Getting some color on the block and headers. Really love the Revell Chrome. Worth every penny. Happy Labor Day everyone!
  22. The Drag City body had that exact profile and the quality was amazing. The Model Car Garage chopped grill added that extra accuracy needed.
  23. The American Graffiti Coupe is done so I thought about taking a break, but I had this mad scientist vision! The Tom Daniel Sidewinder/Rattler, some Rom Olsen crazy 60’s wide tires and the insane VCG Resins Slant 8 “Warplane” motor. And, in this vision I saw the new bottles of MCW Finishes Chameleon Red/Gold color shift paint. Here we go with another crazy Show Rod. 😂
