  1. The Dominator Jiggler Dragster is done. Full write up and photos in the “Under Glass, Drag” section. Enjoy.
  2. The “Dominator” Jiggler Dragster is done. Great dragster from the early days of racing. This is the recent release from Atlantis, The Kent Fuller Dragster as part of the Keller Kustoms series. The main part of this is the AMAZING VCG Resins Jiggler Flathead motor! It is a replica of the rare version of the Ford Flathead motor. It has a Competition Resins S.C.O.T supercharger with Iceman carbs, pully system and scoops. A VCG Resins Moon tank and tachometer were added. Ron Coon Resins accelerator and Knock offs for the wheels. Any chrome is Revell or Alclad and the colors are Testor decanted red enamel, and the frame is Tamiya Dark Iron. I had an original set of instructions from back in the 70s with the correct way to install the front end. A great help to get the stance correct. Any other parts were parts box sourced. Enjoy.
  3. “The Dominator” Jiggler Dragster is in the home stretch! Decals are done and 2k clear is next. Interior is ready to install.
  4. Motor is complete, and wired. Floor is in (was not part of the kit, so scratch built). The body panels (from a 60+ year old kit) needed a lot of massaging. Body work is on the agenda for tonight. Progress is being made.
  5. Have not started the interior yet, but it will have the floor and full interior.
  6. Some more progress tonight. Tomorrow night fuel lines
  7. Love that kit, did mine as a copy of a local drag car from the 60's
  8. The VCG Resins Jiggler is super cool for any exposed engine hot rod! I just had to put it in my 32 build.
  9. They work so well for tubbing a rear. Just scuff so paint sticks better.
  10. Making progress on the Atlantis Kent Fuller Dragster with a VCG Resins Jiggler Flathead. Should be a cool one when done.
  11. They were modified Flatheads that were originally used in midget racing, but eventually ended up in some hot rods. There were some crazy variations on the Flatheads over the years but this had to be the wildest one.
  12. The Great Pumpkin is done. This is my Halloween build. This is a Revell 1932 Ford Tudor. The body is a chopped Drag City Castings 32 Tudor resin body. The factory style firewall is also from Drag City Castings. Color is MCW 1970 Dodge Go Mango Orange and interior is Tamiya Ghost Gray. Halloween decals are fingernail decals. The wheels and tires are Radir style from VCG Resins, 18/20 with their Dragmaster tires. The valve stems are aluminum from Protech. Disc brakes front and rear are also from VCG Resins. The Engine is a VCG Resins “Jiggler” Flathead probably one of the coolest Flatheads I have ever built. Carburetors and air cleaners are from Iceman Collections. Protech spark plug wires, looms and boots. Detail Masters fuel line and linkage. Protech sparkplug boots, wires and looms. The frame was lowered with an Iceman Collections Drop front axle and the rear was lowered with shorter shocks and airbags. The skull shifter is from STS decals and the chain steering wheel is from VCG Resins. The inside arm rests and door handles are from Iceman Collections. Seat belts are from Gofer and the dice are 5mm dice. All chrome was stripped and replaced with Revell Chrome or Alclad. License Plates and dash are from Best Model Car Parts. Enjoy.
  13. Avocado Hauler is done. This is a 1953 AMT Ford F-100. Color is MCW 1968 Dodge Avocado and Black. The wheels and tires are from VCG Resins and are the “Speedway Series”. Hubcaps are Spun Aluminum from Parts by Parks. Didn’t really want to cover those awesome rims, but Moon Hub caps are so cool too... The Engine is the Flathead from the kit, with Iceman Collections Carb, Distributor and coil and Detail Masters fuel line and linkage. Protech sparkplug boots, wires and looms. The bed had to be tubbed to fit the wider tires, and the frame was lowered all the way to the bump stops. The bumpers are 1937 Desoto bumpers. The blanket seat cover is from STS decals and shifter and chain steering wheel are from VCG Resins. The door handles are from Iceman Collections. Seat belts and bed wood are from Gofer. All chrome was stripped and replaced with Revell Chrome, and trim is Bare Metal foil. Fuzzy Dice are from Ken’s. Chain tailgate straps are scratch built with heat shrink as protection. License Plates and dash are from Best Model Car Parts. Enjoy.
  14. I just built the AMT right before this Revell one. Both are great. The AMT has beautiful lines.

  16. The "Mer-low" is done. This is a 1949 Revell Mercury Chopped Sedan. This was what was a typical 50’s custom Leadsled. It was lowered 3” in front and back. Ken’s fuzzy fur carpet and dice and lastly Detail Masters speaker grills on the back dash. All chrome was stripped and replaced with Revell Chrome, and trim is Bare Metal foil. License Plates and dash are from Best Model Car Parts. Enjoy.

  18. Yes, I stripped most of the chrome in Purple power, then I can sand the seams off, and then the Revell Chrome. that stuff is amazing for sure.
  19. Just uploaded the pics, great thread!!!!
  20. Tangerine Dream is done. This is a 1949 AMT Mercury Sedan. Wanted to build a clean 60’s custom Leadsled. Color is Testors Firey Orange over Gaia Shiny Brass with a Steel Apple fade. The paint job was inspired from the Gene Winfield fade paint jobs of the 60’s. Engine is the Flathead from the kit, with VCG Resins carbs, air cleaners, oil breather and headers. Protech sparkplug boots, MAD distributor. AMT classic whitewalls replaced the odd sized kit tires. Door handles, trim and emblems were shaved and filled. Trunk gaps were filled in and corners on hood were rounded. All chrome was replaced with Revell Chrome, and trim is Bare Metal foil. License Plates and dash are from Best Model Car Parts. And lastly the Tiki shifter is a VCG Resins gem!
