  1. It’s a separate hood scoop i super glued on. Lots of sanding and filling to smooth it out.
  2. 1964 Ford Galaxie is done! This is a replica of the ‘64 Al Maroone Ford Dealer Drag AA/S from here in Buffalo NY. Started as an AMT promo kit, added teardrop hood, correct steel wheels with correct slicks. Interior has seat belts, tachometer on steering column and light weight seat frames added. Paint is Wimbledon white and all the chrome is Bare Metal Foil. Decals are from Jim Heller Decals. She is done and in the display case.
  3. Quick fun build. Tom Daniel’s Hemi Semi. I built this back in ‘71. That one was lost to time. I found this one as a pretty good previous build, but into the stripper, and re-built. Loved the wacky character kits from the 70’s! It’s done and on the shelf…
  4. They are extras from an old AMT Willy's gasser build
  5. 65 Ford Falcon AFX drag car is done! Just under 3 months to complete (Summer slows the builds). Lots of extra work on the old kit. Moved the axle forward 3/8”, completely tubbed the interior. Hemi Dart rollcage, seat belts, fire extinguisher. Rims and tires of another gasser, Competition Resins full teardrop hood and electric fan. Correct Ford scammer valve covers. Texas 3d brake drums. And amazing detail parts from Josh at VCG Resins! Shifter, brake booster, and the cool Moon tank on the grill. Deep blue lacquer with custom decals. Done and on the shelf!
  6. Love your Wagon. Ran a few Falcons back in the 80’s
  7. All done, and on the case. 1929 AMT Model A pickup on a channeled Revell Model A chassis. Competition Resins Ardun Flathead motor with SCOT blower. Tamiya Candy Lime Lacquer paint. VCG Resins Headers, Grenade shifter and super cool Grokon cab lights as tail lights. Iceman distributor and Pro-tech wiring. Fun little hot rod with a throw back to the glory days!
  8. I do remember those tires in the early 70's. I believe they were made by Dragmaster. Friend had them on his t bucket
  9. All done. 1929 AMT Model A Woody Surf wagon. Lots of extras. Lowered, VCG Resins wheels, tires, disc brakes and Flathead headers. Iceman Collections distributor and Flathead valve covers. Detail Masters Beehive oil filter and wiring. And a bunch of other things I’m probably forgetting some extras. One of my favorite builds so far. Super cool old hot rod!
  10. Dropping the front axle makes that kit so much better looking!
  11. Roth Surfite and Tiki hut are done and in the cabinet. Fun Cool build of a car I saw at a Clutch Artist Show in Buffalo when I was a kid. This car was also in the movie Beach Blanket Bingo. Ed Roth build the coolest customs in the 60’s. Glad I found this kit at Buffalo-Con!!!
  12. The front tires came in the Coke 49 Plymouth. (5 bucks at Walmart)
  13. Yes, Vega steering box! (Ran a t bucket in the early 80’s)
  14. Finished the T-Bucket and the pickup last month. Got both from the one kit, not bad for a 10 dollar toy show grab. Love the 70’s hotrods!
  15. Done! Hands down my favorite build yet! This is from the AMT Fruitwagon kit. Wanted to build a typical early 70’s hotrod. 1925 TBucket, 368 Lincoln Y Block motor, tangerine flame lacquer paint, aftermarket VCG Resins air cleaner and Tiki shifter, and an early 60’s NY plate. This kit came out in 1969, and I remember as a kid looking at it at in the hobby shop in Silver Creek and thinking how cool it would be to build it. Over 50 years later, I did it justice!
  16. Ooo, I like that! Didn’t think of it that way ?. It is an extra bat from my Creepy T build.
  17. Done! ‘29 Model T C cab pickup “Old School Rat Rod”. From AMT Fruitwagon kit. Flathead 4 cylinder, ‘32 Vicky rims with whitewall slicks, Mexican blanket interior, beer keg gas tank, fully wired and fuel lines. Red plexiglass rear window, high shifter with door knob shift knob, and a Flathead V8 that is ready for the swap if needed. And extra goodies in the milk crate.
  18. Mocked up T rat. Tamiya matt black and Tamiya German military grey.
  19. The Moon discs are from Parts by Parks, currently available.
  20. Done! 32 Ford Deuce. The kit was designed in 1959, this is the rerelease from ‘94, but same old design with no details. Reworked all the body seams, correct Flathead exhaust, spun aluminum Moon disc wheel covers and a bunch of details on motor including scratch built radiator. Windshield chopped scale 6”. Driver from kit reworked to have arm match level of door. Original seaweed flames, that stayed together!!! Very very old school cool!!! In the case and on the shelf!
  21. Nice, you got the wheelbase right in the front, many of the AMT Willy's kits have the front wheels tucked back to far... Looks nice
  22. Yup. Those have been save for a long time for the right build. This was the right one.
  23. Done! 57 Ford Fairlane 500. 312 Ford Paxton supercharged motor, fully wired with all correct hoses. Full interior, red carpet, seat belts and tachometer. Custom 3D printed hood. Lowered 1/8” in front, scratch build traction bars all on Keystone Classic rims. I wanted to build a typical 70’s street racer.
  24. Nice AMC Hornet. As a AMX racer for years in the 80's, always nice to see anything AMC!
