kind of hard to argue with future. I guess it depends on the finish you're looking for. Not everything has a custom finish on it. Nascar is shiny but not glass finish shiny. Future seems to be the right level for most things -
that is very cool, makes it stand out from the other #3 cars and that is just what you want. He stood out now your car does also. Good job

hey that bike is looking great, real nice paint. thanks for asking about the contest, took 2 thirds, with a Toyota GT-1 , love that model if you haven't built one you should. Also BMW M8 NUNU Platz model . Took 1st in motorcycle with a old #46 Rossi, the 03 Honda with the 70's motif lettering, best part who was in the class that I finished ahead of, great time. Keep up the great work

costs drug money, could not have said it better. I am right now building the Tamiya Ducati 1199 Tricolore great model. Usually the type of bikes I build are MotoGP, but as you know they all go together so well. Have a contest this weekend we'll see how it goes. Keep up the great work I can't wait to see the finished product

Real nice to say the least, love the decals, will be making a call for them. Has anybody seen the #28 Allison car decals on the nexgen model and where did they get them
-
real nice build! I am from indy, watched AJ drive the 500 and stock cars at the State Fairgrounds dirt track with USAC. All the big names were there, miss that form of racing
-
great job, did an old #43 Richard Petty Dodge truck build, anybody can drive trucks. If you build it they will drive it, in your mind at least, great job

Great job, love old nascar. Haven't built any but never know, good work

looks real good, it's a different thing painting the inside glass frame and the masks are great. Do you really mask the outside frame like on the drivers side , as on your model in the photo then spray or brush. The inside glass I got it's the outside frame that troubles me. I have been building for a long time and like most of us have won contests but I am also my biggest critic as I'am sure we all are thanks for your help

thanks for all your replies, I am sure i have done everything most of the time it's just fine. Imean if I couldn't pull it off most of the time I would not build sport cars, just looking for other ideas. The black bmf is garbage. I have used carbon fiber decals on some but that is time consuming and hard to pull off

great job on that RB car both of them,ya know those 2 kits are almost impossible to find these days. Think the kit makers would see how popular they are and produce more, great job you should be proud of them -

very nice was my 1st Tamiya sports car model. When you get done you look back and wonder how really easy it was for a difficult looking model, you did a great job -

spray paint and spruce bags
Roy L Frost III replied to Roy L Frost III's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
showing it is a lot better than saying it, thanks and that is a great looking model -

ya know when you have to spray, say a small section in the front or rear of your car and you don't want to mask 3/4 of the car with tape or paper and tape. Well keep the bags that your model spruces come in, most of the time they are big enough for the whole body to fit in. Then tape the bag close to the area you are painting. Make sure you close off the top and bottom of the bag, then paint. When done take the tape off and the bag comes with it The body is protected and you are good to go
