super glue on the windshield
Roy L Frost III replied to Roy L Frost III's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
thanks for all your responses, its small but you know how it is, you notice it more than other people would., I did get some off, considered sanding feared the thing breaking so I am leaving it alone rather making it worse -
just finished the Meng Audi R8 LMS GT3 model and discovered a spot of glue on the windshield. I can't seem to remember the method of removing it, I assume there is. Hope you fellow modelers can help me.

Moebius Golden Commandos altered wheel base Plymouth
Roy L Frost III replied to fordf-100's topic in Drag Racing
great job, just got my Moebius '65 altered Dave Strickler model going to do a Ramchargers car, but your car is very nice. It's nice to see old kits getting some love now. -
very real good stuff, if I can say that. The TR6 I think although it looks like a '68 TR250 that was my first car is great. You have the talent that a few million of us wished we had, make all the kits you want, one great drawing beats them all and you got a ton of talent, I'am sure you know that or you wouldn't have put them on here. Thanks for sharing them, don't stop

wondering if anybody has purchased the scale motorsport GT4 carbon wrap? If you have any put them on please tell me how decals 9L, 9R go on I think I can do the rest, have done the carbon wrap for the Vette that wasn't too bad.

Issue 223
Roy L Frost III replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in Model Cars Magazine News and Discussions
got my 223 today, great issue, one thing about the HMCA contest you would think that the Best in Show would have it's front tires on the correct side. LF shows on the RF and still won Best of. WOW -
is this place real or not
Roy L Frost III replied to Roy L Frost III's topic in Links to Aftermarket Suppliers
thanks, I am going that way also. Another site modeltoysale comes up with even lower price, all the other Tamiya models on that site are priced within reason but still not a lot of faith in it, save my money I guess -
maybe this is the wrong place for this question, but. I was looking for a Tamiya Red Bull F1 model which is hard to find at a reasonable price. The company Modelkitcentral comes up and has one for 111.00. The company is in the USA price is unreal and on their site you can't seem to buy from, called the number provided and did not get anyone. Just looking to see if anyone else has delt with them

Decal problem
Roy L Frost III replied to Dave Armstrong's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
this might help or not, haven't read it in the responses, but a simple hair dryer might help. I have built for years and love decal work, a hair dryer is always on hand no matter how many decals are to be applied. using decal solutions around door jams and hood, trunk jams, the drier sets them and you can cut with new blade then your good to go. But you probably already know this, so that is all I got -
great job, these kits are harder than ya think, at least it was for me. Built the #9 when they first came out. Going to build the new #17 car. great job, looks real good

Roy L Frost III replied to happy grumpy's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
great job, no need for aftermarket with these kits. Was my first Tamiya sports car kit, was great then and now. almost feel like building it again, very nice, not to pick I guess you noticed the Nissan decals are upsidedown on the valve covers
