  1. Sorry it's taken me so long to answer you but my computers processor went out on me and I just got it back. Thanks for the compliment on the car. The paint is 69 Dodge T5 Copper Poly from Model Car World. Hope this helps you out. Don B
  2. Awesome build. The color and dog dish caps look sweet on a 68. The engine bay work is fantastic. Very nice. Don B
  3. WOW Ron, it's really coming together. Great job on the BMF. The tailstripe looks awesome with that color. Can't wait to see more. Don B
  4. Thanks for the pictures Frank. I know it's on my list to get even though I already finished a Landy conversion. Don B
  5. Thanks for all the compliments Guys, I haven't been here in a while. Lots of other stuff going on. This car is one of my favorite builds. I hope to post some more update pics of my progress on the 69 Super Bee Six Pack soon. Don B
  6. I don't see any valve stems on the wheels. I say diecast.
  7. Excellent work Ron. Perfect all over. Now who was it that said they didn't like dog dishes and steelies? S**t they make the car look like PURE MUSCLE. Awesome job Bro.
  8. Beautiful Build. Very nice work all over. I really like it. Don
  9. On the first part. LOL
  10. I agree with Brendan and Dale. I have four Iwata airbrushes and after trying other brands out there Iwata is the best there is. No doubt. Lose the Aztek. Don
  11. Josh, the wheels I used are in the Yenko kit. They are the correct Yenko style mags for the '69 Yenkos. I just painted the spokes in Model Master Metalizer, dark anodonic gray to give them a more realistic look. Hope this helps. Don
  12. WOW!!! You did an oustanding job replicating the '69. Very very clean work all over. Nice to see another replica stock build of a true muscle car. Great build. I love it!
  13. No, it was in a display case and I hit it with a swiffer duster and down she went
  14. Looks like your off to a good start. What color are you painting it? Keep us posted on your progress. Here's a pic of one I had finished but it took a dive off the shelf and is going back to the bodyshop soon.
  15. Thanks Guys, I'll post some pics of my progress on the dash and chassis soon.
  16. Ron, Thats a great tip. I'm gonna have to try it out. Thanks.
  17. Ron, it's really coming together. The BMF work looks great. I bet the gills were lots of fun. Keep us posted.
  18. I like it. A real throwback of the '60s.
  19. Mike, glad I could help. Good luck. I won another Route 66 '69 Six Pack on Ebay about two weeks ago. The first one I've seen on there in seven years. Maybe you will have better luck than I did. Don
  20. Mike, I bought the diecast at a local Kmart about seven years ago. Route 66 diecast was and is no longer a Kmart exclusive. However MotorMax makes a 1/24 scale 69 Six Pack with the same interior and sells for about $10.00 on Ebay. I just got one for an R/T conversion I'm doing on another Monogram kit. You can leave the headrest on if you like because the 1:1 car came either way. It has mags instead of the steel wheels which BTW are the most accurate looking late '60s Mopar steel wheels I've seen yet once you de-chrome them. Hope this helps, Don Here's the MotorMax diecast.
  21. George, I did change the kits round knobs to the roller type. I can't believe Monogram even put round knobs on it in the first place.
  22. Hi Everyone, well I started my next project a Monogram '69 Dodge Coronet 440 Six Pack. Im working on the interior as it needs a lot of modifications as fellow board member forwardlook60 pointed out. The interior in this kit is a Plymouth GTX interior so I cut out the rear seat and added correct '69 Coronet seats from a donor 1/24 scale diecast Six Pack. I also Im putting a benchseat instead of buckets which also are from the diecast. I cut the headrest off and had to rescribed part of the seat pattern back in. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere I was informed the dash doesn't have a speaker or defroster vents on top.(THANKS FORWARDLOOK60) So I cut the Revell '69 Charger dash up for mods. Also added resin cast armrest and window cranks from the '69 Charger door panels. (Thanks Ron S for your help with casting them) But it doesn't stop there. The radio's round knobs look like they came out of a 60s Chevy and there is no ignition so I reshaped the knobs and drilled out the ignition. And I thought this was going to be an easy build. Here's some pics of my progress so far. Please overlook the flocking and dust as I forgot to clean the interior before I took the pics. Thanks for looking. Comments Welcome. Here's what I'm replacating. Correct interior pattern shot. Donor diecast. Wrong interior with correct seats. Rear seat cut out with correct front seat headrest removed and seat pattern rescribed across the top. Correct rear seat installed. This is where it pays off. Seats, armreat and window cranks installed. I still have to add the seatbelts and finish the dash.
  23. I Received the Dart parts you sent. They look great. If you need any parts dont hesitate to ask. There yours if you need them and I have them. Thanks friend.
  24. Wecome Aboard. I think you'll like it here. Looks like your off to a great start. The build looks good so far. The real bike doesn't look to shabby either. Keep us posted on your progress.
