  1. Great looking 57. Go to evilbay look for this seller, tcpglobal-autobodydepot. He has three sizes of flakes in many colors as well as House Of Kolors Paint. Most of his stuff is Buy It Now so you don't have for the auction to end in a week. He also carries airbrushs and supplies. Hope this helps.
  2. Wow, That really does look great. Very good job on a very out of proportion kit.
  3. Ron BTW do you have anymore of those lakewood tractionbars laying around?
  4. Looking good so far. Keep us posted on your progress.
  5. Hi Everyone, Well since it rained today and stopped my plans to paint the body parts I decided to work on the chassis. Here are a few pics of the mockup. Well back to work. Or should I say back to play!
  6. If the body color is automotive paint and the black is testors enamel you can take a cotton swab and some testors brush cleaner and wipe it right off with no harm to the body color.
  7. Hey Ron, Wow the rear shocks really do look like Gabriels. Nice touch. Keep up the great work.
  8. Hey Everyone, Got the body parts in primer today. Sanded and ready to paint. Only setback is we have a thunderstorm moving in. Looks like I have to wait to spray. Guess it's detail time on some other parts.
  9. Hi Ponti, Thanks. I used BMF for the trim. A Keith Marks decal for the speedo and a 18/0 brush to detail the radio and knobs.
  10. Thanks Ron. I noticed you have a killer Cuda in the works. Keep us posted.
  11. Hi Everyone, After I finished the 68 Charger R/T conversion I thought I would take a break. Didn't happen. I had to start the 69 Dart kit. The interior is finished and I just shot the chassis with MCW 69 Dodge Copper Metallic Lacquer and I will use the same color for the body. Here are some pics of my progress so far. Hope you like it. As always comments welcome.
  12. It's really starting to take shape Ron. Looking good and very clean. Can't wait to see it finished.
  13. Hi. Get yourself a tupperware container big enough and deep enough to sink the body and parts you want to strip. Put the parts in cover it and let it set over night. Wear rubber gloves and take a toothbrush and lightly scrub the parts then rince them. Hope this helps.
  14. WOW. Awesome work. Pure Muscle, now thats what Im talking about!!!
  15. Now that is a Musclecar. Very nice clean build.
  16. Hi Mike. I just received a resin 440 6 BBL hood I won on ebay. It is very clean and cast in white. The only thing missing are the hood pins. No big deal. Also Keith marks makes a 68-70 Roadrunner decal sheet with the hood 440 6 BBL decals on it. Hope this helps. Don.
  17. Beautiful build. Color and detail are great. I've never seen a Johan Roadrunner look this good. Makes me want to take mine out and give it a try. Keep up the great work.

    79 Camaro

Very mean looking Camaro. Nice build. Is it just me that looks like a 78 Camaro not a 71.
  21. Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was really a blast to build. I just started my next project. It's a 69 Dodge Dart GTS. Will have some pics on the workbench soon.
  22. Check out your local Radio Shack. They have different size and color wire.
  23. WOW. That is beautiful. The color and detail work are awesome.
  24. Hi Everyone, After a minor setback it's finished. I started this build as a replica stock but had a change of mind. I decided to do it like the street cruisers of the early 70's so I ditched the magnum 500 wheels for some aftermarket wheels. I also blacked out the grill added yellow plug wires and headers along with lakewood traction bars. Raised the rear end a little. The usual BMF treatment and Keith Marks decals. It was a fun conversion to do. Thanks to fellow board member Ron S for making the personalized rear license plate along with the front vanity plate. Here are some pics. I hope you like it. Comments Welcome.
