  1. Im on fence what to paint body or if i should leave it green and paint trim gloss black and also leave the fenders brown. Or if i should paint both something different. Cool thing is they offered almost unlimited paint options in them.
  2. I actually kind of like the green. Ya the TD Trantuala was molded in that color green.
  3. They were like the Cadillac V16s you could custom order paint colors. Basically its like a lime green and rust brown. But i just wondered if Packard had a name for them.
  4. Does anyone know what Packard would of called these colors the Monogram kit is molded in?

  9. Thanks everyone! I enjoyed the build there were a few minor fit issues but nothing big at all. I used Tamiya pearl green metallic and rust oleum gloss black. And Testors gloss wood for lower part of rear part of body. I love these cars. They are impressive and the V16 engine is quite unique.
  10. I just finished it after several months of work. First Johan kit i have ever built. I am impressed of the quality, detail and fit. Its a mid 1960s kit it is built from. Several aftermarket parts added. They are beutiful cars. I have a Johan 1931 V16 Cabriolet kit to im going to build.

  14. Looks good! I built this kit for 1st time 21 years ago. I have 2 unbuilt ones in my stash. When i build it again it is getting the details it deserves also. Back then my skills were not honed yet for detailing.
  15. Looks great! Love it
  16. I picked up a complete unbuilt one of these at show in November for 30$. I have looked thru it. It seems like a high quality model kit. Parts are molded nicely and well detailed especially for a 1960s model kit.
  17. Thanks guys. I will do some research on the engine.
  18. Im thinking of building my Monogram 32 Caddy in near future. With a 16 cylinder if i want to add spark plug wires for extra detail how would i go about that? I know nobody makes a prewired 16 cylinder distributor.
  19. Im looking forward to building it.
