  1. Wow that looks amazing!!! Very nicely done, that body work has to be an absolute pain to get perfectly done. I only wish you would have cast it in resin for us to be able to build one. Perfectly done my friend!
  2. This is the second time I primed this car, the first time I used an old can of Rust-Oleum Automotive Primer and it sprayed funny, so I let it dry and then stripped it with that new paint stripper, Dave's I think it's called, it didn't hurt the body at all, and took everything off it. Now I'm going to let this dry overnight and do some sanding on it to smooth it out. Very slow process with these.
  3. Well if you do that I'd be interested in one of those, possibly cast the body also , I've done conversions in the past, had everything primed and smoothed out for paint, painted the car, had an issue with the paint , And had to strip the car and start all over with the putty, sanding and primer, It's very frustrating when that happens, one car was a 1971 AMC Matador that I used a Johan 1970 Rebel for everything but the front clip, and a resin Model Car World NASCAR body, I wasn't happy with how it looked and fixed everything wrong with the front of the car, scratch built the grill, valence panel, front bumper and added the body moldings to it, I had to strip it down to nothing again, and start over on the body, I finally got it back into primer, took it to my friends house so he could cast it for me, That never happened though, I lost that car and all the work I put into it. That was very frustrating to say the least. Back to your Mustang, another color that would look great on that car is the Frost Turquoise. With White lower body stripes.
  4. Great scratch building on the body and interior parts. Definitely going to be watching this to see how this one goes. The 1967-'68 Mustang's have always been one of my favorite cars.
  5. Not really, There is a 1/24th scale diecast by Greenlight that's really nicely done, it could use some actual chrome trim and Bumpers on it though, the bumpers are painted silver to represent it being an old car. That entire series of the Greenlight '74-'75 Dodge Monaco diecasts are really nicely done.
  6. Does anyone have any ideas for help with the interior? I'm thinking about making a plain police car out of this. The dashboard has me stumped right now.
  7. I'm actually working on one of these right now. I have the Missing Link conversion kit for the '72 GTO, hardest part filling in the front fenders.
  8. What is the easiest way to fix how the rear wheel wells and back bumper look? I personally in the past, just cut the sides of the back bumper to match the Johan '69 bumper, the wheel wells I've never messed with. I still really like the kit even with all the inaccurate details.
  9. Body work has begun!! Hopefully primer in the next few days weather permitting.
  10. Here's the rear of the car, I'm fitting the taillights to the rear bumper, and the last two photos are the front bumper and grill options, one without the Dodge Superlite, And with it. I'm thinking about chroming and detailing both of them and leaving them interchangeable.
  11. I just pulled this one out of storage, It's the Too Many Projects 3D printed body and bumpers, I'm still figuring out the interior details. So far I've stretched the chassis, that's two of the '77-'78 Monaco chassis's cut and glued back together, still needs a lot of work, the interior is from the same kit, the dash is from the AMT '70 Impala. That's the basic stuff I have done so far, now I need to figure out the proper way to make the '70 Dodge interior out of the parts I'm using, and fix the exhaust on the chassis. These are excellent subjects that they offer, I'm also working on the 1969 Polara 4 door sedan at the same time.
  12. I think he makes the hood, the grills the issue, it has the R/T molded in it, the only way to fix that is to cut the grill apart and hopefully find the proper grill pattern in photoetch. That's quite a bit of work to do.
  13. Great looking Impala!!!
  14. Thanks for the information, I'd love to see the '68 and '69 Torino hardtop/convertible kits brought back , I have both kits, but newly tooled versions of the hardtops and convertibles would be amazing, the original 1969 is the only version that has the hardtop to glue on to the body, the '68 was only done as the convertible and fastback. Both as the kits I mentioned would be great sellers for us Ford muscle car fans!
  15. Any new progress on this build? Loving it so far!!
  16. Looks amazing!!! I'll PM you for details on ordering
  17. Just a few to build.
  18. Great looking build!!! I forgot R&R made this kit!
  19. That's one great looking color!!! I'm working on the hardtop right now. Still haven't figured out a color for it yet.
  20. Anymore progress on this?
  21. Great looking build!!! I've always loved the plain Jane Coronet Police cars.
