Nice job and I am sure a nice kit from Tamiya
  2. Nice kit. I assume it does not have a vinyl top? The redlines were no longer available in 1970 so rwl tires would be more correct. Thanks
  3. That is fabulous. I grew up not too far from South Bend Indiana where the Studebaker and Avantis were made. I have driven a few Avantis back in the mid 80's when they were no longer built by Studebaker. You have built I think the best looking scale Studebaker I have ever seen. Unbelievable.
  4. That is beautiful
  5. Very nice. What color did you use? Looks great and the woodgrain on the dash looks very authentic.
  6. That is an outstanding job!
  7. I did some digging and realized that I have a white Polar Lights Coronet unbuilt and I have the Lindberg 64 Plymouth unbuilt. I wonder how the interior & body of the Coronet would work with the Moebius Satellite? The interiors on the Satellite and Coronet are different. Anyhow thanks for the advice and your coronet looks good!
  8. Looks great!
  9. I built a 65 Coronet 500 numerous years ago (Polar Lights) but don't exactly remember the build to well other than the engine and exhaust manifolds I feel were a rough fit. I am want to replicate my stock 65 Coronet 500 1:1 car that has a 383 in it and was wondering about using the Lindberg 330 kit for the chassis and the engine. Has anyone done this combo and how did the two match up? My car has stock wsw tires and the 65 500 spinners so kind of wondering about what wsw tires to use as I remember the Polar Lights car has BSW tires. Anyhow any help before I start buying the kits would be appreciated. I have attached a quick photo of my 1:1 car. Thanks
  10. If you look on his sight he has a gallery of built versions of his cars. There are a few pictures of the Coronet on there.
  11. My experience with MCW with paints and his resin has been very positive. That was when Dave Dodge had both but he sold off the paint business and he has kept the resin business if I remember correct. I might be incorrect.
  12. Great job. I love the clean stock build.
  13. Nice and it looks period correct.
  14. Great build. My dad had a few years ago an original black 54 with the wide whites etc. A beautiful car and it was a Starlight not a Starliner. It had the post and the flip out window in the rear. It had real low miles on it and was virtually all original. Quality from the factory was a tad lacking if I remember right. Fit and finish being the most obvious signs of it. You have done a great job on your 53.
  15. Very cool. Who would think to build one. I wonder what they are like or were like to drive? Great job.
  16. Truly beautiful.
  17. Beautiful job. I love the color.
  18. Looks great.
