Pics are up. I needed to fix some stuff. LONG day for all of us.....including my trip back across the border. No big deal. Glad I didn't buy a lot of stuff. My hat is off to The Detroit Area Auto Modelers for ANOTHER great NNL Motor City. I was pressed into service this year as official photographer, so my usual photos are not available. I hope the set-up individual shots will suffice. NNL pics start at #144. We also photographed as much of Bud Lefevre's builds as possible. Some of these a lot of us have never seen....or at least in a long while. Those are pics #1 thru #143. Bud's widow Ginger was in attendance to give the Bud's Way Award. There was an MPC display as well, with builds, boxes, etc. we hope you'll like. The folks there seemed to. As this was a temporary location for one show, vending was scattered throughout a few rooms of a high school, mainly the main cafeteria, front lobby, and gymnasiums. This seemed to work very well as there were less crowds in one particular area at any given time. NNL MOTOR CITY #5 PICS

DMCC MEETING NOVEMBER 2009 Revell 150 was the Common kit build. First meeting since losing Bud so it was mostly about him. Miss you, Bud. Gearing up for NNL Motor City on Sunday.

This has been discussed amongst the 3 Detroit area clubs, there will be a Bud Lefevre display at the NNL Motor City on November 22nd and IF we can get something done, a memorial award may be in place by then honoring Bud. Right now the guys are trying to help out his wife in her difficult time.

Only coming up to 4 years for me personally, but I think you're correct at about 20 for Downriver MCC.

I assume it's a 32nd scale Lindberg piece, but not sure. There were obviously more parts involved. Does anyone have the missing pieces like engine top, grill?

Nothing much new to report as of Friday's meeting. Bud was supposed to be moved out of ICU and back to the care facility Friday, but there's no confirmation of this.

DMCC October meeting Resin was the theme. George53 was NOT resin cast.

Our club has a meeting Friday night. There's a few guys there who have been visiting him and Ginger regularly. They'll have an update.

Off on sick leave right now, but am usually a Security Guard in emergency of a hospital.

Info from reliable sources this past weekend have him in a care facility and on a feeding tube with the cancer spreading to his hip and surrounding bone area.
