  3. Paint one side, foil the other and turn it around on the shelf every now and then.
  4. IMS doesn't release attendance figures.
  5. So I should be able to pick up my semi-open wheel Dario Franchitt Indy car kit at my LHS real soon?

  7. WOW ! Even better than the original, it's more to scale in thickness. Thanks!!
  8. Just did a test upload of a few pics, no problems and nothing noticeably different.
  9. That's probably the route I'll go , Ed. Looks like I need to visit Modelhaus and see what I can come up with.
  10. From looking at the pic, the 1929 fender doesn't appear to have the raised center areas the '27 fenders have. Seems I'm looking at some serious fabrication issues on this project.
  11. Thanks Ed, I was afraid of that. It'll make it a little harder to build this.... 1927 Dodge frame, cab and fenders, 36 Chevy grill and assorted rust, powered by a 354 Hemi. Fenders were my main concern.
  12. Has there ever been a kit issued or has anyone done one in resin around this year?
  13. Welcome John. Going through my second(or 3rd?) childhood myself.
  14. Pics from the contest held today at the local Hobby town Bill http://public.fotki....test-4-14-2012/
  15. So it is perfectly acceptable to call someone out who might potentially rip someone off, but once the act is committed, you just have to sit back, shut your mouth and take your lumps. Strange rules around here.
  16. Contest coming up later this year in Branson, by MOSS. I'll have to get the exact date and post it. link to MOSS... http://www.facebook....3940243&sk=info
  17. Pics from the contest are here.... http://public.fotki....ntest-4-7-2012/ Bill
  18. Contest is this Saturday in Joplin, Missouri
  19. You're right Casey. I was mistaking the tree in the bottom left for a bike. I should have looked more closely at the pic.
  20. This is the one I came across on EBAY. Now I'm wondering how many different 1/25-24th scale bikes are out there.
  21. Never noticed the missing flap, my eyes were fixed on the parts. I saw the Bigfoot, not a match. The blue I have is identical to the white one posted above, including the tree #. Austin, I'll get back with you later today. Bill
  22. Pic I found of the AMT GMC Jimmy Bushwacker w/ trail bike... sprue is an exact match, not to say this tree wasn't included in other truck kits.
  23. Those are some nice looking bikes James. I'm saving your pics for reference when I start mine. Thanks! Bill
  24. After doing some more searching, I think the white bike is from the AMT GMC Jimmy Bushwacker kit. Sprue doesn't match the one in the Bigfoot model. The Bigfoot bike appears to be a larger dirt bike rather than a 70cc or so trail bike. Like to have one from the Bigfoot kit.
  25. It is dark blue. Mighty small bikes to go with such big trucks. I like to pick up the little extra's that used to be included in kits whenever I get the chance. Thanks all.
