Thanks Dave. The blue is identical, with the same sprue number. It's missing the seat, but that gives me an excuse to start dabbling in a little casting.

Picked a pair of these up, wondering what kit they came in. One is molded in white and one in blue. Sprue is marked F 2502221 Thanks, Bill

Here's the old '80 Mopar I get around in.

Sometimes an outside influence isn't needed at all.This '53 Ford survived a local contest,(took 3rd in trucks). I brought it home, walked in the front door and dropped it on the floor. After looking at the ugly wreck and pretty ribbon for a few months I finally put it back together. It was kind of like building a Pro-Shop kit, everything was painted and ready to go.

The chassis matches with the AMT '71 Mustang. My unpainted '71 chassis has the same factory splice line in the rear floor pan area where the mold was modified to fit the 1/25th body.

But his chassis is longer than my 1/25th AMT.

I pulled an AMT '69 Mach 1 to compare and the rear floor pan section is longer on your chassis. Looking at your photo it seems something funny is going on there, as in the faint hint of a splice. All other parts of the chassis looks correct. Maybe I can scan mine and get a photo up, my daughter won't be back with my camera until later this afternoon.

Prefer original issue, but will take em' as I can get em'. I have the Johan Haulin Hearse on my bench now. Bill

Made that resolution last year and it managed to bring my model building to a virtual standstill the past 12 months.

I just stand and read at the LHS magazine rack until they run me off. It takes a few trips, but by the end of the month I've read about everything they carry.

Do you have the current version of Firefox? I have Firefox 7.0 and never have to sign in here or at any other modeling forum. But I do have the signing in problem you have with the Lycos sites.
