  1. Another query. Install windshield before or after BMF on the frame? And how do you handle the inside of the window frame?
  2. Thanks. I am no where near able to light my builds Maybe someday.
  3. What about 5 min. epoxy in place of resin?
  4. I've never used UV resin. What does that entail? One would need a UV light I presume.
  5. Still deciding on whether to strip the chrome plating. The kit came with no clear lenses for the tail lights. Any suggestions on detailing these?
  6. Can the Alcad be brushed on? Alclad II 4107 Chrome for Plastics 4oz
  7. That's better. Looks like a bad haircut.
  8. Excellent detail.
  9. I looked for pics found this one and went for it. It was my same color scheme so... Could have looked for a better angle.
  10. Yeah, Learning every day. Worth fixing? +/-
  11. I went with a Gopher Racing pre wired distributor. First time using add on. Came out Ok. I was over cautious when trimming so the cables might be too long. Cal
  12. Test fitting interior tub. Check. Can't tell from pics but tub fits fine. I wish the carpet were blacker and the column gauges clearer. I went with a Gopher Racing pre wired distributor. First time using add on. Came out Ok. I was over cautious when trimming so the cables might be too long. Cal
  13. I'm unable to find a link to this vendor.
  14. I'm not sure what to do with this. All info I find is for DIY wiring.
  15. Wild, Wild West of Portland, OR.
  16. This is Dallas. She's 3.
  17. Broken front Chevy emblem was beyond repair.
  18. Fun to watch your progress John. I built a 1:16 version when I started back into the hobby I thought older eyes need bigger parts. I like how it came out. This was before I was comfortable wet sanding and polishing the body so I settled the clear coat as is. And I too like the '57 Chevy and your color choice. I look forward to your build. Ps. I've been wanting to flip that steering wheel forever.
  19. Not giving up yet. I've taken it down with 1000 grit for the nasty stuff. Trying not to get down to the stripes or decals. I don't want to strip ot or buy another so I will do my best and finish the project. I still have other new things to try and plenty more ways to screw it up. Cheers.
  20. Did you hand paint the wood trim? I would like to see your process.
  21. Incredible work.
